In Spain they have a olive oil law the oil must be in a original bottle,like spirits here.the oil was horible.pizza was fine/bland american with anchovies .the staff are nice .

Went out with the Family for Mother's Day as it's suitable for Children and Pizza is always a hit with them (Sorry Mummy). Well looked after by the staff and Shabba and Rob were great! The Pizzas and the rest were all spot on too. Would recommend especially if you're out with the Family.

Fantastic trip to Jesmond restaurant. Staff are brilliant- esp Shabba who went out of his way to help - particularly with the kids. Food delicious. Our fave pizza express restaurant (and we?ve been to a few)

Pizzas took forever to arive, stone cold, barely any toppings. Outrageously overpriced!Edit: Thanks for the corporate response, I'd rather just have my money back.

Really long wait for food today because a chef was off sick but Shabba kept our spirits up and sorted us out so had a great experience overall.

Me and my cousin frequently visit pizza express for an easy quick bite. Shabba makes it such an enjoyable and easy experience. Helping us with all of the offers/deals we could get. He made sure we were happy with our food, which was delicious!

Came to pizza express to do some work and drink some coffee with friends, Shabba was our server and he was simply the best! he made us iced coffees even though they do not serve this, and after a few hours of work, he came back with some complimentary iced coffees, remembering our order from before to keep us going with our work. This made our day! Thanks Shabba!

Such great service, Shabba is great! He was a o attentive and kind. Pizza was yummy, and a personal highlight was the iced coffee!! Will definitely be coming again!

Utility DREADFUL! Restaurant had half a dozen tables so therefore where we were seated was a disgrace. My birthday with family and friends. Pre booked , table for 7 Sat us on the hideous table next to the bar . Older couple with us , perked on high bar stalls. The mirror at the end of the table ,whilst ?antique? ,disgustingly dirty with cloth marks all over it. The wall certainly needs cleaning if not repainting. The service was APPALLING! We waited 1 hr 20 mins for 2 salads and 5 pizzas. We were told ? there is no rocket? and I even said , ?I?ll go and buy some from Waitrose ( literally across the road) . My Caesar salad was poor as was my husbands Niçoise salad . The girl from the kitchen in her plastic pinny came and rubber gloves! and started clearing plates whilst our friend was still eating .! I had to go and ask the chef who was making dough if we could have a waiter to serve us pudding and coffee. Waited a further 20 mins then we decided the evening was just rubbish . The bill came to £191.00 and I handed over £200 cash and never saw the change and to be honest I should have demanded a deduction of service charge as well as the change.
