AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! Noisy, no privacy and dirty. Also, Travelodge's customer service team are useless so if you have a problem (which we had) they cannot solve it and refer you to Booking.com. Honestly, my experiences have convinced me to avoid staying at a Travelodge and I will never use BOOKING.COM again....really awful experience that has gone on for over 6 weeks now.....

Easy to get to, just at the end of the motorway. City centre is another 20 min drive away. Very comfortable room had a good night sleep having got there after midnight and checked out at 10am.Side topic found free parking 10 min from the Newcastle stadium for the 4-4 draw with Luton. Would come back.Nearby activities: South should beach about 20 min drive away.

Tired & needs refurbishment. I fount out too late, non of the rooms have walk in showers :( all the pillows were like bricks, & bed dips in the centre, making it difficult with 2 people in the bed. Unfortunately we had some noise people above us who were also late to bed!We only saw 2 staff, 1 on checking in & 1 on checking out. Otherwise the "back in a minute" sign was up. All in all not a particularly good experience.Rooms: Quite large, on the back so nice & quiet.Bathroom needs a walk in shower, for those with reduced mobility.Walkability: 10 min walk the "The Green" pub who do nice food at a reasonable price.

Wonderful staff and they totally loved my 4 legged Furbaby Alfie. ???????Two nights stay. Bargain price plenty to eat and drink. Burger king, Greggs,& Subway. And an Esso petrol station. Absolutely great....Super quiet.Came looking at new Properties. Relocating from Leeds. Used this hotel as a breather. The beds are the best beds I've ever slept in.Rooms: There isn't much I don't like about a Travel Lodge......it was great as always. This is my 1st stay at Newcastle. I find the beds super friendly. Smells nice ? love the fact they let Dogs into the rooms and freedom is just excellent ? Towels are amazing and the room is very clean. I think your underselling yourselves I would pay more money. So comfy and very quiet.

I stayed here 1 night. The location is very convenient on the motorway network. When I arrived, the desk was empty but a member of staff came through and checked me in after a minute or so. Everything was clear and I was welcomed to the hotel. My room was clean, tidy and as expected with complimentary tea and coffee and towels to use. Some of the bulbs on the wall lights in 41 didn?t work but all the downward facing lights worked so that wasn?t a problem. The only thing which was not brilliant is the road noise. Perhaps the windows need upgrading at some point but once I was asleep (it didn?t take long to sleep), I had a great sleep. The hotel has no lift so if you?re upstairs, you need to carry your cases up. On departure, there was no member of staff to say goodbye so I dropped my key through the slot on the reception desk and left just before the 12pm check-out time. I will use this hotel again when I?m back in Newcastle.Rooms: Clean, tidy, has all the expected things with a Travelodge stay (towels, tea/coffee making set, TV). The only thing to note is road noise from the busy road network outside.Food & drinks: There?s a Subway, Greggs and Burger King connected to the building but accessed by leaving the reception and entering the separate entrance for the food facilities.Noteworthy details: There is no lift to the first floor.

I had made a mistake and had booked a room on the wrong date. The hotel was fullly booked for great north run but the lovely staff helped me find a nearby hotel. If the service is reflected on an actual stay, would definitely recommend.
