I booked in my car via the RAC service and MOT plan. I received a phone call 6 hours after dropping the car off and was informed the car had failed it's MOT and would cost £1100 to replace track rod ends, wishbones, staberlised link, discs, rear pads etc. The car has been serviced by Mazda main dealer for the past 10 years and this is the first, and last time I will use this Garage. I asked for documentation for the service and was told I do not get anything in writing that the service had been done by them, although I did get one on the interim service. The RAC have lost my custom and will be taking my car elsewhere to be repaired.

Would give negative 5 starts if I could. Never normally leave reviews but I HAD to share this one. Please avoid at all costs.My car?s been playing up flashing all sorts of errors. Consulted around and figured it?s most likely a simple battery issue. Took to this service as it was the earliest available appointment I could find online. Was told my car would get looked at on the day, come back with the repairs quote.Fast forward A MONTH later, still nothing. I kept calling a few times a week as I started worrying it could be some major costly repair. Every time I called I got told the same thing: ?we?ll call you back tomorrow? and an infinite amount of excuses as to why it?s not yet been sorted. Eventually, I called an alternative service and had to pay to get it towed to the other place. Fixed within HOURS. Called Car tech back asking for my money back with no result.In the time I?d been waiting, my MOT expired, insurance got messed up (thanks to Car Tech too), money and nerves lost.I?m so appalled and frustrated, can?t even begin to describe the anger. Worst experience of my life, would never even drive near again. Petition to get it shut down.PLEASE AVOID.

Absolutely useless. Booked in for a wing mirror replacement, gave all the details, manual wing mirror and told it can be done on the day, car goes in and they say they can't get hold of the part but order it yourself and we'll get it fitted same day. We order the part and ring them up to get booked, can't do it for another 2 weeks. Avoid these knackers like the plague, friends and colleagues have similar stories, wish I'd heard them earlier.

Just when we got on the Ferry from IJmuiden (Amsderdam) to Newcastle our Car showed a "motor error" which persisted the other day and motor power was reduced. AA couldn't fix it but guided us to Car Tech. They fixed our motor within a few hours even though having a lot of other work to do and safed us our three weeks of holiday in Scotland. Car broke down so I contacted the RAC who tested it and told me that it was a relay. They didn?t have one themselves so took my car to this garage. I asked for a quote before any work was done and was told I?d get one. Didn?t hear anything for a couple of days so rang them and they said they were too busy but would ring me. Again asked for a quote and was told I?d get one. A week after having my car they rang to say they?d done the work and it was a faulty temperature sensor and charged me £190. In the week since my temperature sensor was replaced by them without me asking them to do any work my car has now broken down three times with various errors linked to temperature. I know I should take it back to them but to be honest I just don?t trust them and I?m paying for somebody else to fix it instead. Have asked around and heard other bad reviews.Service: Electrical repair

Can?t rate this place high enough. Fair price and a great job done. Serviced my insignia last year. Rang them recently regarding a key fob for my sons Corsa and although they don?t do them the lovely delightful and helpful lady who answered the phone gave me a number and I got it sorted. 5 stars from me.
