Can't praise this place highly enough. 4th visit and each time, food, service atmosphere have been 5 ?, probably more. It is my go to place in tynemouth to eat and have a refreshing drink .

Walked in on Mother?s Day morning with the wife and kids. We were promptly seated in the cosy dining room. Food came fast and hot. Bagel, breakfast ciabatta, French toast and Avocado toast were lovely! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely staff, food and atmosphere.

Lovely cafe in the centre of Tynemouth for a lunch or coffee stop. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes, and nice coffee.

Our favourite cafe now- second visit this week and it was as good as the first. Great coffee! Friendly and efficient service and consistently good food. Their bagels with omelette, avocado and tomato relish are warm, tasty and without doubt the best we?ve ever had... you?ve got to visit to try them if you don?t do anything else this weekend. We?ll definitely be back to try other things on the menu! ... but maybe after another bagel.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and very quick service with nice festive snacks on offer. Tasty food and unique hot drinks options - would have been better if breakfast menu went on a bit later!

Very pleasant café come eatery.Had very nice chocolate and ginger cake with powerful ginger just what is needed when your chest is bad.Tea bit weak for me try 99 from The Coop. Not good if you have limited mobility as the seating area is up four or five steep steps. This place sells to take out.And there is am outside seating area if you can brave bad weather like my last visit ice snow and bitter wind. But would definitely come back.Vegetarian options: Good well identifiedDietary restrictions: Good awareness seems a priorityParking: Hard to find at busy timesWheelchair accessibility: Poor steps to indoor seating but outside an option

Our favourite place where we have gone regularly for years, always lovely staff with no complaints, but noticed today how dirty the toilet is starting to look,(womens) needs a new clean toilet seat thick dust covers the light and mirrors, all areas need a really good scrub down including the floor and a lick of new paint would go a long way to bringing it back to the best coffee and food place in tynemouth.

Not a one for reviews but as a recent father I feel excluded from being able to dine here as I have a pram! Very upset after todays visit! We had been advised to take a walk along the cost with our child and grab a coffee at Dil and the bear with cake by a close friend. On arrival, with our push chair, there was a number of tables free at the back on the shop. Which would accommodate us. The customers were actually trying to help us by moving their chairs to let us in. However we were told by a man behind the counter we would need to leave the pram at the front door. I explained our child is only 8 weeks only and can not be taken out of the chair he still said no we would not be able to dine with them! He said about the noise in the shop!? And the size of it however no one had a problem with helping us in apart from the staff. There was no health and safety issue and we would not be blocking any doors. Our child is actually on an oxygen supply (under his pram) which is why he can not come out and sit on our laps without that close by however the staff member was not remotely interested or even bothered their self to say hello when we entered. I would hate to see the way the treat any other customers with disabilities or wheel chairs! Will never return.
