The gym was recommended and it is alot better than I was expecting. From the outside I thought it looked quite small but once you get inside it's better equipped than half of the commercial gyms you go to. Really good space, I've only been a couple of times but always feel comfortable working out here. Definitely recommend.

Beware as Google maps told us it was closed on Saturdays but it is open. It's a lovely bright space, comfortable for hours of chat without feeling you should leave! Good menu choices. Coffee was good. Friendly service. A great find!

YMCA Gym is a community gym ran by the homeless charity YMCA North Tyneside. All membership fees go straight back in to helping the homeless, families and young people across the North East.
