During covid the staff made customers stand in an orderly queue, which I enjoyed as I used to be in the Army. Only problem is the staff are too polite, sometimes a bit too helpful. But I guess it is softer nowadays. I remember reading a magazine in my local newsagents as a kid and the shopkeeper used to say "are you buying that?" Here I can read all the papers and nobody says anything.”
