I went to trade in an \\\"original\\\" Xbox one 500 Gb for the Xbox Series S offer they have on for £154.99. Console was in good condition and I thought there would be no problems with the trade in. I was told they couldn't take my \\\"original\\\" Xbox controller because of wear on the thumb stick. I was also told in store to go and buy a 5 amp fuse to replace the \\\"original\\\" 10 amp fuse in the Xbox consoled plug? They only offered me the Series S console if they took the new controller out of the box which was worth £50. I tried to ring head office about this as it seemed very strange and the controller was in good condition, but you cannot get through on the phone. I asked they if they were serious about the deal and I was told \\\"you don't have to trade it and can leave\\\". I couldn't believe the customer service I received and that they would not honour the trade in deal.

Was shocked to find that game had moved inside of sports direct upon returning home from university ... Whilst the selection is as decent as ever , it's so bloody difficult to find the thing that it doesn't feel like it's worth the effort to be honest ... Some more arrows directing you to where it is would be very very appreciated.

Normally a decent shop but bought a game today and when we got home none of the guides or leaflets were in it when it's brand new, the woman must have forgot but for the price you pay that's ridiculous

It is what it is. Really small shop, but that can't be helped. The staff have always been canny and if you just want a new game or a browse through the pre-owned stuff then it's fine. But if you have a wedge to spend and you want a good browse (or if you're into PC more) then pop over the Metrocentre.

The place was okay because everything we wanted was there however they could clean up the store a bit. The deals in here are also very good such as the 2 games for £10.

After my experience at this store this morning I will never purchase from this store or any game store ever. The scruffy manager in store had items with marked prices on to which my son was about to purchase items over £100.00 to which the idiot lost out on the sales for purchases due to wanting to increase sale prices even though items were already marked. He said it was managers discretion as he knew the young person was wanting the items for his birthday decided to mark the prices up, mangers discretion and you decided to be an utter jobs worth well Mr scruffy long haired dude I hope your company see, s this review you lost them a good sale today due to your obnoxious attitude. I hope you get demoted for your poor customer service care.

Easy to maneuver to find what your looking for. Staff are very friendly. Can get a little cramped on peak times and weekends. Highly recommend
