Shocking customer service. Staff unhelpful, unfriendly and unprofessional.Wasted over half an hour of my time.Call me old fashioned but I thought you'd be able to open a bank account by going into the bank!Girl on the front desk not even in uniform, looking like she'd just rolled in from a night out.Kept telling me to "apply online", even though I chose to apply in branch and had all my documents with me (basically she couldn't be bothered).Walked out in the end, why would anyone trust these clowns with their money?

Attempts to look at online bank statements is a total loss, many many attempts to get into my account results in failure. Threatened in the past to move accounts to a different bankthink now is the time to do it. Bye Bye Santandar

Basically reliable but I find the place impersonal. They seem to have a high turnover of staff most of whom seem very young. I have banked here for 30 odd years and have suffered occasional instances of mistakes on my accounts and poor service.
