Do not buy a sofa from this shop, absolutely shocking worst sofas we have ever had, we have had it repaired as the frame broke, the guy who came to sort it, said they had not been made properly since it left the factory. No padding a the arms of any sofa all you can feel is the wood. Over priced bits of wood. Held together with nothing but glue. Definitely wouldn?t buy anything from SCS again. Save your hard earned money and go to a different company.

I wouldn?t rate this company to anyone. They are disrespectful and don?t care about people grieving. All they care about is themself and how the rip off people with their warranty . Blaming a terminally ill woman for the damage, and saying how it took us 6 months to report it , people if you want a sofa please don?t buy from this company , save the extra and go to a company that?s there for you and not for themselves. I will shame this company on every website they are on I?ve had to give it a one star to post it but trust me it would be minus 100 . Again getting people to rate them to allow to post the truth about this company

We ordered a table and chairs plus a couch from SCS, spending £4,000 plus, we asked for the delivery of the items to be delivered together, which we had to wait for, as they cancelled twice, causing me to loose annual leave and money.Now they have finally sent the table and chairs and the chairs are not the ones we ordered and don?t match the sofa or any of the fittings as we have planned.When speaking to the customer service they showed no compassion or empathy and when I asked to speak to a manager as the employee could not deal with my problem, I had to wait 48 hours for a manager to contact me.Considering SCS boasts that their furniture comes from Britain and when the box of chairs arrives that says in bold lettering ?MADE IN CHINA?.As I work within the delivery hours of SCS I?m likely going to have to book more annual leave to wait for a set of chairs that should have arrived two months ago.Don?t order from SCS, they will take ages to deliver, and when it does come it will be the wrong product, they are incredibly good at taking your money and not delivering the goods as promised, which is a legally binding contract which they have broken.This company takes advantage of the general public and judging by reviews appears to get away with it time and time again.I will be reporting SCS to the trading standards.

After being delivered a 2nd hand foul strong tobbaco smelling item of furniture after I ordered a new item they were not really interested. Below is a video after putting my hand down the side of chair was evidence of crisps from previous owner.This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional I would not reccomend using this store this is dishonest salesmenship.

Was told insurance would cover leather and manual recliner mechanism. Only found out when insurance certificate arrived that it only covered leather. Also found out the leather spray treatment cost over £200. Would never have agreed to this if Andrew the salesperson at Straiton store had told me. He also sold me sliders which make no difference. I can?t move the sofas. In fact on reading the care instructions it states sliders only needed for laminate floor. To move the sofas you need to lift them. Andrew asked me what type of flooring I had and I told him quite clearly, carpet. He said I would need these sliders at a cost of £60 to move them easily. He appeared to be a very nice young man but will say anything to make a sale.

Worst experience ever. Do not buy from them. I was missold a sofa. A technician came and was so rude. He made his mind up the minute he walked through the door. He made me upset. He then proceeded to jump on my cushions with his shoes. Made a complaint and was told they can't do anything and didn't beleive what happened. Saying nothing the can do and will not send someone else round. No customer service skills. I was upset on the phone no empathy or consideration . We now have a sofa we cannot use. Very dissapointed. If people were nice and polite I would have probably not even made a complaint

Can't get through to aftercare, bad quality sofa, reported 3 faults already and have only had sofa for 3 months!!! Now their repair technicians have cancelled appointment, booked time off work ! Disgusted is an understatement ?

I wouldn?t purchase anything from this store, they are the worst store for quality of goods, communication about the goods, aftercare, you can never get through. They wil readily take your money prior to delivery, but when it comes to getting your money back for faulty goods that?s a different matter.The managerial staff in store at my local are appalling.BE WARNED

The cushions had no substance, they did not fit properly,it was like sitting on a park bench.The beading around the edges was hard and dug into knees and head . Very badly made.I was not told by the pushy sales assistant that I had to take all the cushions off,backs as well and plump them up every couple of days,they are very heavy and I am a 76 year old woman with a chronic back problem.I chose this sofa because the one I sat on in the shop was solid, but the one I received felt like it was stuffed with cotton wool.A total waste of money.

Had a sofa for 6 weeks and the frame completely broke. Offered to replace but customer service has been appalling. Asked for my queries and concerns to be escalated on numerous occasions and they just don't reply.

This company does not care once you have paid, they will assure you a certain item is arriving on a certain day then tell you it was only an estimate on the day it was supposed to arrive, It can take upto 28 days,Very bad customer services.

A special thank you to the carpet fitter allocated to us , Mr Mark Kingdon out of SCS Cardiff. A true professional whom was happy to go the extra mile to achieve customer satisfaction. Myself and my wife were delighted with the carpet and especially the fitting by Mark Kingdon which makes all the difference when having a new carpet.

Still awaiting my sofas, told proudly that WE (SCS) have 4 weeks extra to still provide a delivery date. No concern for the customer. I paid in full, twice now delivery has been cancelled at last minute. Will never use again, just hope I get what I?ve paid for very soon or don?t have to wait forever for a refund.
