Politely asked what best price was to resole shoes. Was quoted £69 which I was advised was discounted from full price circa £79. Asked if they could match the £65 I gave them a few weeks ago for an identical pair was advised no. Had previously used these guys not because they were cheapest but because service level good. Felt totally unvalued as customer today.Sadly appears Timpsons values and culture not doing so well at this store in Morrisons tynemouth sadly. Wife and I were long term customers until today.As a footnote thought I would give North Shields store a try - who after confirming on phone they had the flexibility in store to discount the ?book prices? then quoted me the full price and would not give me any discount at all.Real shame - used to like dealing with these guys - and have done for years.

Just had the heels and soles replaced on my leather boots, they look better now than they did when new! Great service, very happy. So much so, I've just dropped another pair in to be sorted. Thank you.

I had my keys replaced here before but wont be comming back the guy was just rude- perhaps he was just stupid and thats a shame if he is. The previous staff were helpful and pleasant

Absolutely appalling customer service witnessed today at Timpson?s at Morrisons Tynemouth - the man behind the counter didn?t actually turn around when asked a question, instead opting to simply reply over his shoulder.then turn back away from the customer. The poor lady asking the question was mortified and embarrassed. Disgusting service from an individual who clearly isn?t happy in his role. Being polite & showing people respect costs zero. Avoid at all costs.

Jesus H Christ. £14 to cut 2 x cylinder keys! I never use Timpsons as I know it's got a reputation for being on the pricey side.My usual key cutting place, Kev the Cobbler by North Shielss metro is closed this week and I get a lot of keys cut there. I needed 2 keys cut in a hurry today so I had no choice but to use Timpsons by Morrisons in North Shields. I know for a fact Kev the Cobbler would have charged £5 for the 2 keys I've just had cut at Timpsons where I was charged an eye watering £14. Robbing bar stewards.

I always use this branch but today a very rude staff member was not pleasant at all. He could not hear what I said as his machine was on and was nosy so all I done was lifted my mask slightly from my face (was no way removed at all) and he said get your mask back on in a very rude way. Then slamed my shoes down in front of me. I was paying cash and was told to leave it on the counter. I know we all need to keep safe and follow the rules but he really did over react. Not sure how he will cope from the 19th when masks are not required (but I will still be wearing mine)

Really dissatisfied- the guy couldn?t be less helpful if he tried.I got sorted elsewhere quickly and easily. Hopefully all his customers go elsewhere. It seems that is what he wants. I?ve been many times before and found that the staff were helpful and friendly before

Had my car key replaced here. In morrisons Preston Grange. He saved me £400.00 & had it done in 20 mins. Cheers mate. Appreciate it.

Rudest customer service that you can expect. Trust me don't even bother going there. The guy clearly looked like he didn't want to work and has been forced to do so. Terrible, Never again

Really poor service. Fella who served me (baldy fella) had a poor attitude, seemed like he didn?t want to be there, no manners, mixed all the keys up. He needs some customer service training

When tried first, shop closed for lunch, tried again 3.30, shop closed with no messages to say when open even though online states closes 6pm, Tried again bit later and was open, wont be going back, served by the most miserable guy ever, totally didnt want to be there.
