Great service from second I stepped into the silverlink store. I asked if they were doing fittings today, was told yes what was I looking for, a very helpful guy helped me find the bulb I was looking for. Went to till and the same guy then came and fitted it, may have just been good timing as the guy had said it had been busy. Great service thank you

On visiting Halfords today the young salesperson Matty was very pleasant-helpful-and patient with my daughter on her choosing a new bycicle.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, basically wasn't any customer service. I booked the bike in online and took it along to the local shop. The young lad seemed very disinterested. It was only for a pre service check up before a service and I was at work that night so I left the bike until the next day. I rang to find out what work needed doing to be told noone had looked at my bike. I rang the next day to be told the same. And then the next day I was told the same. By that point I was a bit disgusted. They apologized and said they'd book the bike straight in for a gear service. The same thing happened again. Took a week and a half!! Got the bike back and first ride I went on the gears are clicking away, jumping up the gears and then dropping back down. There's no way I'm taking it back, so I threw away money and time and got terrible service in return. I'll never use Halfords again for anything and I'll advise everyone I know to avoid the place.

I visited the store 9/7/2023Leaving instructions for a new inner tube and tyre. I was told to return 30 mi s approx.i returned and was told its been repaired for 10 and I didn't need it. But do t worry we will refund. Returned home as I had to come through tunnel. Gave it to son who was at work. Guess what down in a matter of seconds. So he had to go I to shields today and start again. So time tunnel costs and '10 down . Shoddy shoddy shoddy. To add to this I bought a new pump and attachment. Wouldn't accept the photocopy of the receipt.

Called Halfords silverlink north Shields, got through to a young lady,Very polite I asked if they had and 5 1/4 in car speakers she told me she would check the stock,She came back with a couple of different ones telling me they had them in the Halfords silverlink,I travelled 15 miles,Only to be told that they didn't . I showed him the recorded call he replied that the person I spoke with was a call centre who didn't have access to there stock... REALLY I MINE REALLY...??? He apologized and that was it so round trip of 30 miles ,No wonder people buy off line,Absolute joke...Then they reply with contact link and we will investigate further.....why just why?This won't pay for my time or wasted fuel?

Had a windscreen repair. Excellent service. They assessed it and made a convenient appointment to repair. Took the car along, parked up, did some shopping and when we got back you couldn't even see the repair! They also told me about joining their free motoring club which gave me a voucher for £5 so reduced the cost of the repair as well. Good stuff!

Visited this store twice this week, the staff are mega friendly and exceptionally helpful. I needed a bulb fitted on my second visit and one lovely young man "Big Rich" came to my rescue, what a delightful young man Rich is, helpful friendly knowledgeable what more could you ask for. Would I recommend this store, thats one big YES!!!

Way too little staff for a busy Saturday, long queue down stairs to pick up a pre-paid order. Then even longer wait upstairs to pick up some cable ends in the bike workshop. What staff they did have were great and helpful!

Ive had an issue for over a week with an online incident. Could not get anywhere ringing. Went in to the store and the guy i spoke to was great. He was so helpful and explained everything to me in 5 minutes

Got email and text to say order ready. Turned up and half the Very order wasn't. Could easily have contacted me. Could have offered to deliver the missing items free of charge. Instead expect me to waste my time and money to return to the store.Still to be resolved a week later. Have requested a refund which seems to have confused their systems and customer services. Seems they are more bothered about answering negative reviews than actually correcting their mistakes or offering decent customer service. I now have been sent an e-receipt for a transaction on 29/3 at 1136 - at that time I was walking my dog on the local beach and most certainly not visiting the store!Very Poor. A complete shambles.

Matty helped me so much I have a ford focus and he helped me put my interior trim back on he was quick efficient and very friendly if anyone needs anything doing make sure you ask this lad he's amazing. He is an asset to the company well done matty

I needed a headlight and side light replaced on my car. Richard at Halfords Silverlink branch was excellent. Fitted both bulbs quickly even though the access was awkward. Very polite and informative. Great experience. Thank you Richard.

We were setting off for a long journey and were having problems starting the car. We went in expecting to have to get a new battery. Mechanic cleaned up our existing one and checked it, told us everything was fine and did not charge us. He explained everything very clearly and gave us advice on future care. An outstanding service 10 /10!

The guy who helped us was brilliant. Think he was the supervisor on shift. He sorted us out with our correct engine top up oil and supervised us as we topped up. Great customer service and if this is the polite and helpful service you provide we will certainly shop here again. Brilliant. The guy should get a bonus. ???
