“Great sized store selling food and drink, expensive but good quality. Shame there wasn't an upstairs that could of been a restaurant/cafe! Staff are pleasant and efficient.”
“Only just moved up to the area. Online shopping is cheaper and better quality. However, I have peripheral vascular disease so need to get out for a walk. The staff here are amazingly friendy and helpfull.Would give 5 stars for the staff, however have used the Co-op in many different places and this one is not the best, so have to knock off a star.o”

“A great shop, but it's the staff that make this shop a personal favourite. I actually travel and pass 3 or 4 other similar shops just shop here.Ran by a fab Husband and Wife along with one other staff member, they provide a great service along.with.a pleasant shopping experience every time. Even in times of lockdown and public desperation, they were one of only a few that did not increase prices on their products.Thankyou Nisa Local (Heworth Rd)”

“Visited this shop over lockdown on numerous occasions, Calumn & Josh are front of shop helpers & have gone over and above to help me whenever i have needed it.The Guy who owns the shop is called Gindy and is an absolute gentlemen even though he's not the most talkative.Prices are very reasonable & the queuing is down to an absolute minimum.Covid 19 banners are clearly marked outaround the shopKeep up the very good work team”

“This venue is sited in a convenient place for all kinds of activities. The hotel was full whilst we were there mainly with families on summer holidays. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Being adjacent to a Toby Inn was convenient for evening meals but very popular and busy.”
