Founded in the UK back in 1992, Wagamama is a Japanese-style dining experience offering noodles, rice, various meat dishes, and other Japan-inspired meals. With the first store opening in Bloomsbury, London, the investment came when the dining industry was struggling and investors were keeping their money firmly in their pockets. However, Wagamama gained much attention in the coming years.
After success, the designers of the first restaurant soon helped to design ten more and they provided hope for other companies in the industry. Not only did they provide a high level of service and quality of food, they also offered low prices which is more than can be said for most other London restaurants at the time. In 2017, they have 120 restaurants across the UK. Sadly, the original store has closed though and this happened in the summer of 2016.
