Waitrose is a chain of British supermarkets forming the food retail division of the John Lewis Partnership. It is the sixth-largest grocery retailer in the UK, and recently added 30 "Little Waitrose" convenience stores to its portfolio.
Regarded as having an "upmarket" offering, the company has a royal warrant to supply groceries, wine and spirits to Queen Elizabeth II.
The company has 350 locations across the UK, employing 91,000 people.
Products include all typical groceries including dairy, frozen, fresh fruit and vegetables, wines and spirits, household, and health & beauty.
In addition to regular stores, Waitrose operates its own delivery service through Waitrose.com, and some stores offer a click and collect service for John Lewis.
