Baught a blind for my bathroom window, sadly it was too small so decided to take it back as you do. The women wouldn give me a refund saying because I paid by contactless "which this day I'm age everyone does" her name was deb and kept saying to me I paid with a different card! Bare in mind I have only one card I use! In the end I had to go to my bank to get proof that I paid with that card and deb still had the cheek to say that isn't proof! Bare in mind it was in black and white! No way will I ever use aberdare Argos again! No wonder why it has gone down hill! And her attitude stunk! She even said she knows her job " very unlikely I'm this situation" but I had the proof in front of her in black and white and the receipt! I wouldn't recommend anyone using aberdare Argos again! Better of going to a different one as I can assure you I will not be going there again! Very disappointed I'm the customer service I'm Aberdare Argos store!

My Daughter bought a gaming centre from this Store for her two children for Xmas.It was stored in my garage.It was very heavy item!She decided a few weeks later that she didn?t want the item, so 11 12 23 she returned it to the Store.The Staff/Manager were appalling with their attitude, stating the box was damaged and they were not accepting it back and would not refund the £99.My Daughter took it Home, repaired the damage to the box, returned the heavy item back to the Store parking in their Customer service bay.Again in the Store the attitude was appalling, not accepting it and as she went back to her car, THEY HAD LOCKED THE GATES!She went in the Store to complain and had to threaten Police action to get them to open the gate!Due to their abhorrent action she could not collect her children from School and was reduced to tears over the matter. One staff member informed her ?DON?T TRY AND TAKE THIS BACK TO ANOTHER STORE IN S. WALES AS WE?LL ALERT THEM ALL?!She had contacted Head Office and they are appalled by the action of the Aberdare Store and are undertaking a full investigation.I make no apologies for stating the persons involved in this sham of an incident should be dismissed for gross misconduct as they have smeared the good name of ARGOS forever in my opinion!My Daughter needs that money to buy her Sons alternative presents!I will be informing ARGOS H.Q. in due course.

Must be the only Argos I know of that makes up it it's owns policies and lies about them on the fly. The manager I've discovered is the root of the problem and judging from my experience dealing with this mini dictator on a power trip I suspect it's why no one looks happy being there, including the customers. Always been fond of Argos but this store really adds salt to the tea.

Very helpfull staff, helped me spend my Nectar points, recommended a cheaper but much better product than i was initially going to buy.

There are some happy assistants working there. Just purchased a folding bed at 17.00. Ordered online so no problem I thought. Changed my mind for a more expensive item. You?d swear I asked for the moon. What an attitude . The foreign speaking woman eventually sorted it. However, this other assistant wants some training in smiling and realise we are the customers!!!

Visited Argos Aberdare today, customer service disgraceful. No hello, just go to the end till. I was aware the store was closing at 5.30 and I arrived there at 5.15, rushing as to not keep them waiting I got my phone and looked for my confirmation emails. Because I rushed I found it difficult to breath under my mask and pulled it away from my face, the assistant said put your mask up, not please put your mask up. I had to look through my emails for confirmation numbers but the assistant was so rude and abrupt. She spoke to me as though I should have known what she was talking about instead of helping me. There was a Perspex screen between us and my items just fitted through but she piled them on top of each other for me to negotiate through . Thus dropping some of the items which happened to be bulbs, I said I hope I?ve not broken them, no reply, no interest, no conversation at all. I had to carry my other two larger items to the jewellery counter so that I could place them in a way that they were suitable to be carried. Very rude customer assistant.

Terrible experience, ordered online for collection, got email and SMS to collect. Visited store told not here yet, come back after 4.30pm. Returned 2 days later, still not available? Staff refunded, but didn't offer the full amount for one item so I checked the tablets in store to see what the promotion was (no longer running apparently) but noticed it was IN STOCK in the store! Checked another item from my order, again IN STOCK, the same for the next.Just one item not available but the staff (two different) were unable to work out that just a fraction of the order was not available, refunding the full amount.

I went there last after reading all the negative reviews. I am happy to say the service was great today. The only thing I didn't like was using the touch screen ordering system in these pandemic times.

I had my order quickly and promptly but the staff are quite rude, don?t smile, use hand gestures to guide people rather than talking. All looked miserable and not happy to help whatsoever.

Customer service is shocking! Not helpful at all. Waiting time is crazy even tho the shop was empty! could not even work the till. Clueless will not shop there again.

Apparently you can save time by ordering and paying online, just turning up and utilising the special fast track counter reserved for this purpose. Yeah, but no.You can order and pay online, turn up and wait whilst the 3 staff on the other tills serve all other customers, even those that entered after you did all whilst failing to even acknowledge that you're there. When I was fi ally served it was as if I'd asked the assistant to sacrifice her first born child. No greeting, no smile, no appreciation for my custom nor even an apology for my having to wait, despite being at their "fast track" counter.I won't be using Argos again. I'd rather pay a little extra for a quality item and decent customer service. Incidentally, Argos is the Greek word for slow, so I suppose the name of the shop says it all.

Bought a t.v lasted 3months left us with 2children without a tele for 5weeks tele part broke mind so was manufactures fault.. didnt give us a upgraded tele after all the stress caused they put our refunded money on a card so we have to spend it at their store.. bare in mind we paid cash... disgusted I know one place I wont be shopping again...?
