The Security guard deserves a medal. He is a true hero. I didn't catch his name but when my daughter had a seizure in the arcade and the ambulance wouldn't come for 2 hours, he didn't hesitate to take us in his van to the nearest hospital. He spoke to my daughter to keep her conscious and tried to calm us as parents down all the way. This man truly deserves a promotion, bonus and a pay rise. Other than this, we had a lovely stay. Again thank you so much to the security man who was working Saturday and Sunday evening. Again, a true hero and a literal life saver.

Came for the scooter only to check in and be told I'd booked the wrong weekend which i had. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us which they did. It was an upgrade at no extra cost and a act of kindness that doesn't come my way often. I honesty thought i was heading back down the m62. We had a fantastic time and made memories. Many thanks to the great team at Robin hood

The caravan was a newer model and very clean. The park itself and most amenities were kept nice but the outside bar area needed cleaning on a more regular basis. The receptionist on duty for our stay never smiled, wasn't welcoming and was of no help when we asked for a WiFi code. She just said "we don't give codes. Just sign in" and that was all the help we got. I helped 2 other guests as the receptionist wasn't obliging. She also answered a phone call in the middle of talking to us and on departure she never acknowledged us when we handed the key back. There is a wonderful prom/beach walk (accessible opposite the caravan park) one direction will take you to Prestatyn (45 mins walk) call at the nova beach hut cafe/restaurant on the sea front for a drink or bite to eat, it's lovely! The other direction will take you into Rhyl (half hr walk). Llandudno and Colwyn Bay are a must. Beautifully kept.

I booked a weekend experience with them 7 months ago. Booked for 8 person in full with sun holiday's. When we arrived 3 days ago they give us the caravan with only 6 beds. I went to complain at the desk they where happy to say with a big smile they only got caravans with 6 beds. They didn't say nothing about it 7 months ago and they where happy to take the money for it. At the desk the staff said they couldn't do nothing about it for now. Very disappointed because they took the money for 8 person in full and gave us 6 beds.

Caravan was clean however I wasn't impressed with the bedding and no mattress protectors. My daughter is autistic with complex needs, I apsolutely would not recommend this site if you have a child with disabilities. The entertainment suggested there would be a sensory morning for 0-5 year olds it was described as a quiet and calm morning experience for those who were aged below 5, this apsolutely was not the case I could hear the music from outside the centre and there was lots of older children. It was anything but calm and quiet and unfortunately we had to leave after a few minutes as it was not accessible for my daughter, also I have to say a few baby toys and a tiny ball pit was not what I was expecting for children's entertainment when I'd spend nearly £1000 on a holiday. Everything on this site is loud so if you do have sensory difficulties this isn't for you, even being in the caravan was loud with traffic and disrespectful guests which security were not bothered by. Rude staff in the arcades definitely wouldn't kill them to smile occasionally especially when being spoken to politely, the machines were also rarely stocked for example 2p machines barely had prizes and were extremely stingy in comparison to other other parks for tickets. Booking for swimming is 24 hours in advance was not aware of this when we booked the holiday. Wristbands were a problem there was 7 of us 1 was snapped off by my autistic daughter due to her sensory difficulties, 1 fell off my daughter's wrist and another one broke again wristbands was not advertised at booking been to many holiday parks over the years and never had a wristband before. TV signal was really really poor didn't matter what time of day or night it was appalling. We took one look at the small soft play and didn't even attempt it it was so over run with teenagers. No WiFi access in caravans, it was described in the leaflet they handed us in check in that there would be an option to purchase WiFi this actually wasn't an option and infact if you want WiFi you must enter the complex again if your a SEN parent you will understand how this caused us problems as I'd been given the impression WiFi would be available. Shop never stocked enough couldn't get the basics like bread thankfully there is nearby stores that do such as Aldi. Most things on site were expensive and I was a bit concerned to see a bouncy castle up in high wind conditions with children playing on it. The beach access is very close and it's a beautiful beach we spent most our time there. We likely won't return just because our daughter was very unregulated even with ear defenders and just couldn't enjoy the holiday as a family with this in mind.

Caravan lovely and clean and so was the park. With us just going out of season, the food places could have done with opening later, as had to go off site after 7pm. The Irish bar was excellent as was the pub quiz and karaoke. Kieran the bar person made us feel welcome and was so friendly to us.

We went here for a family holiday. Jus5 be the beach, it felt like a force 9 gale most days but the kids loved d8gging holes in the sand. Lovely pool, the kids loved the amusements. A £1 each and they were gone for ages. The caravan was clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by the size. There's also a lovely waterpark nearby. It would be better if you could buy a daily amusement pass.Great hiking nearby.

Well after reading some of the reviews we were slightly apprehensive about staying here but I can honestly say our fears were unfounded. We found the camp to be spotless and very quiet though probably the time of year .The gardeners keep the grounds lovely .We did not use any of the facilities as a caravan is always a base for us but the site is in a prime position with bus stops right outside .The caravan was slightly dated but for the money we paid we cannot complain, it was spacious with two bathrooms and all the furnishings were clean. We will definitely be returning at the same time next year hopefully, we can highly recommend ?

I stayed in Turners Travels Caravan, lovely caravan perfect for families, A home from home, entertainment good, plenty for children and adults alike. Easy commute to town centre and other resorts. Good value break.

This was our very first little break away, we loved every single minute of it! Caravan was beautiful, the beach is literally across the road, there?s so much to do for the kids in and out of the holiday park. I really wanted to take my children swimming but I have a child with ASD who loves water & slides. A 45 minute session would have caused a huge melt down so we took the children to the beach instead & on the park in the holiday park. The train was a lovely touch to the park! The atmosphere there was just the best. The sun was out & everyone was happy. I only had 2 minor issues - first being older kids sitting in the slide at the park - parents were no where to be seen (in the pub) & not letting the smaller children down, a child threatened to punch my 5 year old because he went down the slide and accidentally kicked him in the back due to him sitting in the middle of the slide. Soon went crying to his parents when me & my partner said something. Also - we like to clean up after ourselves. There was a broom but no dust pan & brush or hoover. I went and purchased a dust pan and brush in the end from the shop. Other then that we loved it & will definitely be returning again

I went 7-11th august, stayed in Rowen avenue, (12) had a horrible experience? our daughter is disabled? they gave us a caravan with a bud bath outside!! She struggled to get in and out the caravan, the water in the taps had made us all feel so awful, we all had sickness and diarrhoea the whole trip, now were home and still feel no different, I?m not sure what it?s done to us but it was horrendous, I had told them at the desk, and they said they?d have someone to look at the plot, offering no refund or showing any sympathy. Also no site WiFi, only place I could get a touch of signal was under the kitchen table! Caravan was bare, e.g, no loo role, for a silver was very poor, as we had a dog and couldn?t go any higher. Really disappointed

I made the mistake of putting a £50 non refundable deposit down on Lido beach, instead of Robin Hood. Dominique has gone above and beyond to help me, even after her being off poorly. Thank you soo much!! You're so lovely and I'm so grateful :)

We have stayed here on this site 4/5times now over the past few years it has been nice for our first family holiday in the UK dependant on weather throughout the week It does lack entertainment for children from ages of 1+ which is disappointing. The soft play area which is in Leo?s Cafe inside the arcade is filthy and needs a good deep/steam clean. Bingo sales start at 18:00pm as soon as the doors open that?s £6 full book £3 half book and x1 special £2 so not to bad bit of fun!!. We did go swimming 45min session and booked the day before The bar that you walk through prior to entering the arcade serves food; we had hunters chicken, ozzy stack burger, chips & a child?s meal the food was really nice also reasonable priced. With a child?s meal they do get a free ice cream too which is a nice touch. I noticed on a Sunday they also do a carvery which did look nice. The staff are constantly cleaning tables and ensuring when families are finished plates are taken away Children are running round everywhere, in front of cars, on bikes also outside the bars. Whilst i acknowledge that this is their holiday too and Robin Hood is a family oriented site the behaviour of some children swearing, fighting & throwing water around is not really what you want to be around when on a family holiday however I do acknowledge Robin Hood staff cannot be held accountable for children?s behaviour their parents should know what their doing at all times Would I visit again??. maybe

First impression on entering the caravan, was impressive BUT...after looking around after being there a while, we noticed blood stains on the sofa and cusions, disgusted to say the least, cleaners need educated on how to report problems like this. The following day, we noticed dog dirt on the grass outside the caravan, went to reception to report this, and they said they would get this sorted asap, on the day we left it was still there, disgusted again with this, so strike 2 for the park. Later we noticed that the plastic paneling around the door was faulty, report this, and you guessed it, still waiting on the day we left. The mattress in the main bedroom was heavily stained, and sunk we you lay on the thing, reported this asking for a replacement, still waiting. On the Sunday, my 2 grandchildren, were being intimidated by 4 teenagers, whom I later found out that they where actually a member of the parks staffs children, this came to a head, when the teenagers would not let my grandkids get anywhere near the play parks, and on one occasion, she threw a bottle just missing my youngest grandson, of which she denied this on numerous occasions, even in front of her parents, after a few times of her dad asking did you throw a bottle, she eventually told the truth, no point in complaining, as nothing was done about the other issues, so left it at that. Overall the grandkids enjoyed themselves apart from the liverpool scally, they had an excellent evening at the wrestling at rhuddlan, they loved the fair ground at rhyl, and them being happy then I was happy. Would I go back...???? your having a laugh ain't ya. Never had any problems at there other park lyons winkups at towyn, so be going back there in the future. If I had the choice in ratings, it would have been a very high minus.
