I did run into some booking issues but it was resolved very easily and staff were very helpful and friendly during the process. Molly was especially helpful and I couldn?t have asked for a better experience whilst there.

Booked online. Turned up but no optician.Rescheduled a few days later. Turned up but no optician.Had to be rescheduled again.When the appointment was honoured the optician was good.

I went in for my eye test a few days ago, have recently changed opticians. I really appreciated the customer care difference within boots opticians. The team they have are lovely and made me feel very welcome.

Utterly appalling customer service! While each member of staff was perfectly polite and friendly, the managers were about as useful as a chocolate teapot! No end of problems with appointments and being given the wrong information regarding contact lenses eg being told trial contact lenses were one day only and to dispose of them when they were actually monthly lenses, my order disappearing after I'd travelled to collect it, not being rung back on numerous occasions etc.From February to September, they have still not sorted my order out. No point complaining to Boots customer service, as I've done that and all that happens is that it goes back to the branch manager. Who just b+++++++ you and doesn't actually do anything. Appalling service, shockingly bad system and communication . It took several visits and attempts to get my very expensive prescription glasses sorted too. Won't be going again. I recommend giving them a wide berth .

Exceptionally rude staff members. We have been customers there for a few years and have spent many hundreds of pounds on glasses in that time.I went yesterday for an eye test and when trying on new glasses the very pushy assistant just would not leave me and my wife alone despite being asked to.We then saw and heard them all, including the manager Ruth, gossiping about us, the young sales assistant even gesticulating in our direction.The male member of staff became aggressive and Ruth, the manager sided with the rude staff (hardly surprising given she was joining in with them) and refused to accept any wrongdoing on their part.We will not be there again. Specsavers up the road, when we said the staff in Boots were rude, said it was not the first time they had heard that.Utterly appalling standards of customer service.A letter of complaint will be going in.

Excellent service here. The sight test was conducted very professionally, with care and a pleasant manner leading to complete confidence in the outcome. The sales staff were polite and friendly but thankfully without being over bearing.

Went to have my glasses fixed. Having taken the glasses was made to wait on the street for 15 mins . Couldn't see , blurred vision very uncomfortable. I understand only certain amount of people in the shop at one time . Could have asked me to come back when less busy
