Terrible service. I went for a prescription and the old man treated me in a bad way and I felt he was kinda xenophobic with me. I told him I was there for an emergency prescription and he told me we don?t have any. He wasn?t kind or trying to help. He doesn?t even look at my papers, ID, or ask my name. He just went for a NO after visiting several times in a day.

Boots, a national company, but these days like many, short staffed and pricier than they probably should be. A shame for such a iconic company!!

Can't say I'm over happy with Boots in Bangor. There appears to be a shortage of staff members, which causes the pharmacy to close for lunch, which is probably the most appropriate time for people to collect prescriptions, be it, for themselves, or relatives.

If in doubt go to the gp several times the pharmacist has given bad advice resulting in a few trips to a&e with the kids and a few emergency appointments with the gp for my kids please if you disagree with the pharmacist go to your gp or a&e

Had appointments with the Opticians. Mine was first, followed by my Husband.Excellently dealt with on time by the efficiently trained Staff, quickly and professionally seen, tested, aided with knowledgeable assistants and very pleased with the new glasses I have chosen.All round 5* for everyone and everything. Have been going to Bangor boots opticians for 35 years,going being the operative word,my wife wanted to buy me glasses for my birthday but I was informed without a new glasses eye test I couldn?t buy a pair off them.I wasn?t informed I needed a new glasses eye test and because I had already had a contact lens test I presumed I could get my glasses,when I spoke to the gentleman he apologised for me not being contacted for a eye test and said I was on a very long list for an eye test,he even said that I could/should go to another optician to get a test if I wanted to purchase my glasses,after 35 yearsIm gutted,it seems it?s all gone downhill since head optician Stephen left,I?ve spent thousands over years between contact lenses and glasses,it?s only today that boots staff asked if I had an email address to contact me,I could go on line and buy a pair with my current prescription but boots will not accept the current prescription ,I also found the younger staff disinterested and rude, im not usually moany person but feel really let down.GARY ROBERTS
