Honestly i have never been to this pharmacy without having problems and having to wait weeks for meds as they cant order the stock properly and end up being short all the time

Since when has it become acceptable for customer facing staff to chew gum?! Especially in an environment like that! It looks so sloppy and unprofessional. I do not want to see gum being slapped around their chops when I'm being served! It's disgusting. Some of the girls have a real attitude on them too. Not sure who they think they are!

Their attitude stinks!The staff serving are very kind and considerate, but the moment you speak to a pharmacist its like your under questioning. It's odd as NHS pushes people to use pharmacies more, yet haven't given them the skills to deal with the public. Empathy goes a long way!

Customer service is at its lowest here. Rude and unhelpful. Not that long ago, service like this would have resulted in dismissal.

Never answer the phone. I then travel to get prescription only to be told its not ready so then another journey. Not good.

Went to Evans West Quay pharmacy in today. Ordered my prescription ten days ago. 'allow 72 hours' the app says. "Oh, we haven't made that up, can you come back later, or it will be a 20 minute wait".
The explanation was that they process prescriptions in turn, but that means mine was waiting its turn for at least seven days.
Thing is this happens every time, I can only assume they don't make up prescriptions until people arrive and ask for them as I hear almost everyone being told the same thing.
I realise it's a busy pharmacy, but if they really did spend any slack time making up prescriptions as they are requested then it wouldn't be so chaotic with people collecting prescriptions. I saw an old frail chap told to come back in three hours. How much effort was it for him to come to the pharmacy just once?
This is not a criticism of the staff who are actually very friendly and helpful; it's a criticism of a 'only when we have to' style of management that just puts things off and wastes so much time as most patients end up having to be dealt with twice s they are continually playing catch up.
Having dealt with several pharmacies in Wales prompt preparation does seem to be a problem here. In England at a Lloyds Pharmacy my prescriptions were ordered automatically, all I had to do was turn up on the right day (I got a text reminder automatically) and they would take my prescription off the shelf and give it to me.
