I PAYED FOR THEM TO BE POSTED TO ME AN EXTRA £10 POSTAGE FOR SOMETHIG THAT IS NO MORE THAN 10g. 2 WEEKS DOWN THE ROAD, NO SIGN OF THEM. GOLDSMITHS I'M SORRY I EVER SAW THE ADVERT FOR THE WATCH. We came here looking for a white gold band. Nothing extravagant, but Josh made me feel like a high roller, offering my fiancée and I a complementary drink whilst we discussed the options. We went away to have a think and when we returned, Josh had remembered our names and was quick to process our purchase. He was an example of great service and makes me feel happy to recommend Goldsmiths.

I have had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Goldsmiths Cardiff store. I took my loved Montblanc 149 with an ebonite feed and specialty ground nib by Mike Masuyama for a service. After 6 months I received a call informing me that the pen has arrived. To my great dismay, the pen they showed me was a brand new Montblanc 149 with plastic feed and standard Medium nib (attached here). After pointing this out, the personnel working there told me to contact Montblanc customer service directly, which is bizarre because I left the pen with Goldsmiths and not Montblanc. In the course of following 5 months I sent a number of emails to Goldsmiths (most of which were not answered) and made 4 visits to the store. Montblanc themselves admitted of changing the feed (which I did not ask for!), but Goldsmiths wanted me to pay 115 GBP (60 GBP to Montblanc + 55 GBP to Goldsmiths) for the pen that has lost a considerable value by this botched service. I have done so, and I hope never again to have to deal with Goldsmiths. Most of the people working there are friendly, but completely incompetent and useless. I understand that mistakes happen even in the best of circumstances, however, the way Goldsmiths have handled my complaint is unprofessional. Zero stars.

Not very good after care service. Eternity ring 14 months old, and one of the diamonds has broken. Their repair service has worded their quote that it's damage rather than a fault. I have to pay the repair costs of £280 myself. I know I haven't knocked it. I would know if I banged it hard enough to break a diamond. Goldsmiths won't pay for the repair, not even an offer to pay part costs. Not very happy but I need it repaired!

The worst customer service I have EVER received. This company has caused such stress and upset to me and my finance during what should be a very special time for us as a newly engaged couple. What should have been a simple exchange of my engagement ring to a smaller size turned into several visits to the store to either be turned away with the promise of a phone call when my new size ring would be delivered in store (that call never happened) or then accused of trying to exchange a ring that was not the same size as the one we had originally purchased from them!!! the staff, who all appear to be new starters are confused at best, incompetent at worst. I will never buy anything from this company again.

Beyond my 10-year old Swatch, I'm very new to timepieces! But after Nico Leonard and Teddy Baldassarre on YouTube, I've grown appreciation for watches. And felt respected and appreciated by the staff despite my being new to the space. Joshua was a delight and it was almost a shame I couldn't stay longer to pick the brains of the staff. All clearly passionate of their products.

They do not respect refund policy and will try to charge a ?refurbishment fee? regardless.We paid for a ring in the Cardiff store and the ring was delivered to us via post as the store did not have the right size. They promise a full refund within their return policy when selling but does not mention "refurbishment fee". We did not like the quality of the ring as it looked very different under the store lighting. So, we put the ring back in the box immediately and returned it within 4 days. While returning, the staff at the store took the ring inside and came out with magnifying glasses and microscopes to tell us that they found scratching and wear and tear on the ring! They said they will charge us a £50 refurbishment fee. I asked for evidence of the condition of the ring when it was dispatched to us, which they could not provide.Towards the end of a painful exchange of emails for two months, I decided to go to the ombudsman and only then they agreed to refund the whole amount. We will avoid them.

I have been helped by many of the team for a few months as I?ve been replacing some lost jewellery. The store team are exceptional and a huge thank you to Nick who?s been my main contact. There is a great atmosphere in store which many other jewellers in Cardiff could learn from. Thank you to the whole team.
