Came in at 12 asked for 5 years of bank statements, the man at the store front who helped me (who's name I have forgotten, sorry), found the bank statements from my closed account and got them all printed off within 10 minutes. Perfect service. Really helped me out.

I went to the Branch to deposit . Due to the Lack of its staff training and knowledge I was told by staff named Hamid to take the deposit else where or close the account as they didn't know what to do.I asked for the details in order to make a complaint to the HO about the issues. I felt like they were covering up and they did not know what they were on about so they were refusing to give me any further details.A lady in plain clothing with no ID bage approached me and said that she is the Manager.As a professional Manager to defuse the situation , she escalated the situation by making false accusations. So I asked her that I want the conversation to be recorded because something was not right. I was told to leave because she felt threatened the conversation to be recorded for our own good.This is the far worst Branch i have ever come across. So unprofessional ,rude ,with zero customer service skills and knowledge.

Awful experience. Would not open a bank account for me in branch. Apparently they didn?t have staff!The app is terrible too. Kept logging me out. I will be changing my mortgage account to bank elsewhere.

Today, I went to open a new account. I had to fill account opening application 7 times just because the website didn't get the address properly. Though the staff could edit from their PCs but they were not cooperating. I spent 2 hours just for that. Once the application was made, for the identity document, I wanted the staff to add my passport instead of just BRP. Even though there was an option to do so, this guy denied to do it. So unprofessional staff. In the end, they opened the account however I closed the account just after 5 minutes because THEY DON'T DESERVE TO HAVE MY MONEY FOR SUCH KIND OF SERVICE

I wish they had better interest rates, but this is actually the only bank who accepted me in difficult circumstances and I've thousands of pounds in savings in just a few month of work.They've earned my stars proving me they had more guts than many other branches. I'd go elsewhere in the future, where they have better rates, but I'll always have a great opinion about Halifax

Shocking! I only wanted to open another account with them for my 14 year old son having 6 accounts already with them in the same household youâ??d thought it would be straight forward. Oh no, you have 3 customer service staff (with no other customers waiting) telling me we have to make an appointment and it takes an hour! Nothing free at the moment. Why donâ??t you apply online in store on one of these new self service machines. Nope this service is not available instore! You have to go home and do it. What fantastic customer service!!!!! We left to open an account in another bank. Shame, in upgrading their bank and sending us home to do it ourselves do the staff not realise they are soon to be obsolete?

Closed at 1pm Saturday not 4pm as stated on the web. Very annoying when made a special trip.
