I've been with Lloyds for years and the service I receive here has been second to none. The only reason I've given four stars is because of the wait, which can be quite long! Go prepared for this is my advice.

Horrible every time I come.Endless waits , and the staff don't treat you with respect. Definitely won't recommend to anyone, especially if you are looking for a new bank .

We went to open a new bank account, and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They explained the process thoroughly. Special thanks to Luke and his team for providing excellent customer service, far surpassing our experience at another bank we visited.

I am an International student. This is the most unfriendly bank I have ever been to. If you need card be sure to wait for an eternity before you can have a card. Use Revolut.

Went in to the queen st cardiff branch today with a sensitive issue concerning my mum's account. I'm power of attorney so I had to go in with my concerns. I asked a young man named Tiaan about my concerns, he immediately took me to a booth and listened to my concerns and did everything he could to enlighten me.He took at least 30 mins scrolling through past transactions and arrange for all to be sent by post.I can't praise him enough,a lovely young man and excellent customer service.

Terrible. Barely any staff there and the ones who are there appear to have no idea on banking rules or regulations. Avoid at all costs.

They told me to be there at 13:00,i came 15 minutes earlier and was waiting for more than an hour.Then when it was already 13:20 they told me i came in to early and she is on her lunch but they told me to be there at 13:00 so i was waiting till 14:00 and i went back home Worst case i had.Horrible????

I went to three banks to solve the same problem within one hour. HSBC, Metro Bank and Lloyds Bank. HSBC queued up for 5 minutes and solved the problem for 10 minutes. Metro Bank queued up for 8 minutes and solved the problem for 10 minutes. There was no queue at Lloyds Bank. I waited for 15 minutes, talked to me for 30 seconds, let me solve it by myself, then I had to wait for a letter from the bank (I don't know how long it would take), the problem was not solved.Well done Lloyds Bank?

The worst branch of the worst bank! You found it!The lady at the customer desk was accusing me of not giving my real home address, basing her decision on her "hunch", only because she could hear an accent in my voice.

I'm changing bank. Lloyds & hsbc closed today, other banks are open. Wind is outside not inside.

Excellent customer service. I went there to open new bank account and staff were very helpful and friendly unlike some other banks on that street. I would recommend this bank for new foreign students/professionals trying to open their first bank account in UK.

My local branch closed, so have to trek into Cardiff to deal with some issues. The staff seem dejected although as helpful as they could be. Still waiting for some issues to be resolved.

Really confusing place. Really need signage in this place. Queue up for about 15 minutes, only to find out it's "money only", get sent to "queue up", which means sit/stand around in another location in the bank to wait for someone to see you, only, it's not actually a queue but a gaggle of people. This is after having been trying to get here for the past 6 weeks due to the poor opening times. Could really do with some organisation in here.
