Dreadful. Cold food and the chicken tasted old and stale like it was yesterdays. Staff very unhelpful. I asked if I could use the disabled toilet as I have walking difficulties and was told no as it was overflowing. Walked up the stairs with great trouble to use the toilet to find it was locked and nobody around to open it so I had to walk downstairs again in huge pain just to find a member of staff to open the toilet. It won't last long in Cardiff with their dreadful attitude and awful food.

Coming from torbay area and drove 2 and a half hours just to eat here? just to be disappointed again the second time after our trip month before (with same experience), did not do review last month and thinking it?s only a one off experience?. But it is the same when we came back this month. The chicken is awful, it is not hot enough, seems like it was cooked for a whole and they jist reheat the chicken. The chicken was not crispy, the meat is too dry and meat is a bit tough and hard to chew? i mean come on. As a child who grew up eating chickenjoy, that is the worst i?ve had. THAT IS THE WORST CHICKENJOY I?VE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE? you guys need to fix your product. I am really disappointed

I visited the store a few weeks ago on a Sunday looking for a few things I could get my younger brother for an art project. I had the pleasure of bumping into Rugena who was so cordial and really went the extra mile by suggesting the best types of paints and materials I should go with. She was thorough in providing me detail on products, she spent the best part of 30 minutes just talking to me about ideas on how my brother can complete his project. I have never met anyone so creative!! If I could give 10 stars on her service in particular I would.

Been a regular customer of The Works for as long as I can remember and never once had a bad experience. Staff are always smiling and helpful when you ask.A big thank you to Chloe for all her amazing book recommendations. I haven?t found a book I haven?t enjoyed yet. Amanda and Tracy are always so lovely and all staff make shopping a good experience all around.

I've been shopping in the Works on Queen Street, Cardiff for a few years. This past Wednesday I had a totally new shopping experience.As I was browsing, I was looking at a £4 Clay play set for my son and wanted to look further as I intended to buy it.As I opened the box, I heard a staff member rudely shouting at me in front of the other customers to not open the box. I had already observed other customers opening items and book sets. The staff member then came from behind the till as they were still serving a customer, yelling at me again to not open the box. I hadn't seen any signage instructing customers not to do so. After the shouting had finished, I paid for the item and mentioned to the staff member that I felt they had spoken to me rudely. The staff member continued in their aggressive tone, stating that in this shop, customers aren't allowed to open boxes. Only staff and managers should open boxes for customers.Anyway, this seems to be a new rule for this shop, and I'm sure the staff will treat everyone equally. So when you go to this shop, please note you must wait for staff or the manager to assist you in opening boxes before paying.I'd love to hear from everyone who reads this , to know their opinion. Is this expected behaviour in a shop? Or is this rule only for me?

My recent visit to the Works was an absolute pleasure, thanks to the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff members. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was greeted with warmth and genuine smiles, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Sunday staff members were attentive and eager to assist, going above and beyond to ensure an incredible shopping experience.What impressed me the most was the store?s layout, which was incredibly organized and straightforward. It made finding everything I needed for my art project a breeze. Each section was clearly labeled, allowing me to navigate effortlessly and locate the materials I required. Poor service and missing item i ordered. Place was not busy, staff are just talking and talking and take too long for our order to serve as take away. Just sad that i love jollibee chicken but when we arrive home after more than 1 hour drive from the place , i found out that all the gravy i ordered was missing. No way i can recommend this restaurant. Mandaraya?

for someone who came to the UK to work and missed the food at home, I was quite pleased to hear Jolibee has opened in Cardiff and again, to my surprised it was just not Filipino's who were there but also other nationalities who where enjoying it. I was shocked to read the reviews here that don't give justice to the food and staff. The ones you mostly see here are just the bad ones due to one bad customer experience (which happens in all fast food restaurants) I normally don't write reviews for fast food. However this place stands out. It is clean, friendly service, and quite a change for taste buds. I tried a peace mango pie and it is to die for (just be careful it can be hot!) Staff is the best I have ever experienced at ANY fast food establishment. Restaurant is very clean and neat looking. Maybe the food seems to taste better because of these facts. A great place for a fast meal. special thanks to Ms. Janice Macala for sorting us out on our visit when we had a bit of problem with the card payment which was sorted out there and then.

SHOCKING Customer Service! Been to Cardiff Jollibee & had take away. Did not check the orders that had put in the bag until home. Found out the item order inside the bag has missing Jolly hotdog. Order #26 27/10/2022 11:58AM (20006) Chicken joy 1pc wSpag- check Jolly Hotdog -missing 3peach mango pie- check Phoned customer service: 02920 345424 Requested to speak to manager on duty but the staff who answered the phone put the phone down on me. SHOCKING Customer Service!!!! If you continue to treat customer like this , you won?t last in the UK!!! Improve your service JOLLIBEE!!!
