I rented a car for the evening for an emergency. The car I was given Had tracking or balancing issues, so it wobbled and shook the whole time. Because By the time I was seen to was closer to 5 rather than 4:30 the given time of collection When I discovered this issue, no one was in at the office to resolve this. I had to make a three hour journey with a dangerous vehicle because they hadn?t checked it properly . To add further insult When I gave the car back the next day, I left my phone holder in there and 10 minutes later, when I remembered, went to retrieve it, they had lost it. No sorry or compensation. I highly recommend you find somewhere else to rent a vehicle. I would?ve expected more from an Established company.

Not a good experience here. Booked car online to collect next day, travelling 40 mins by car to collect, I was called 15 minutes before collecting time to say there is no cars at all, nothing! And so they was cancelling reservation. Sadly this means refund will take upto 10 working days!Tried again few days later speaking to the call centre, women I booked with was adamant there would be a car for me. Booked in again, 10 minutes later, phone call that its being cancelled no cars again.Was told to speak to customer service who reel off a script on how sometimes there is double booking online/on phone... told carmathen doesn't update the system of what cars are in and out.Terrible experience.If you can hop on the train to Cardiff branch! I highly recommend these!Because Swansea and Llanelli was also terrible to deal with, none answering phone and all cancelling bookings.

Carmarthen branch are a complete shambles. Booked a van a week in advance and they phoned me up at 5:30 the night before the hire and told me that their computer system couldn't approve the hire but they didn't know why and couldnt do anything about it. The guy on the phone told me that they are not allowed to make any decisions, they just do what the computer tells them too.Sound like they need a better computer system. And better staff to run it.Avoid this company.Date of experience: 29 February 2024

Would leave a 0* if I could! Shocking experience with this company - reservation confirmed does NOT mean you have secured a van. Reserved a van for between 8am-5pm, only to be told at 4pm the night before that there was no vans available after allocating them all, and one would be brought over from Milford Haven for 10:30am rather than 8am. The day the van was needed, we were told at 10am that the van wouldn?t be ready until 4pm - I had made it clear we NEEDED a van in the morning due to a house move completing that day. Terrible customer service - must have rang about 50 times in a 24 hour period having no answer, even having to phone other branches to try and get through to them. Would never recommend! Thankfully a small local company saved the day with half an hours notice. STAY AWAY!!!

The first time I rented from this place a few months ago they had the wrong category of car and I had to visit three times over two months to get the difference in money back.Today I?ve been struggling with the website and so eventually had to call the branch directly, I made a reservation, when I came in, they informed me that they have no cars whatsoever for the next five daysI therefore have missed a job interview I don?t need to say anymore really do I?

Hired a van online and picked up from Carmarthen Enterprise. Took out the extra insurance as didn't want to be left paying a HUGE excess if there was any accidental damage. Well worth it.There was a 30 minute wait when I collected the van due to it being 12:30. Dyfan showed me around the van, after apologising for me having to wait, and explained everything. He was super friendly and polite.I returned the van the next day. Only one person was in the office and he was on the phone. But he took the time to look up, smile and say 'I'll be with you in a minute.' It's small stuff like this that make a huge difference to the customer experience. So thank you Arron!I'd definitely recommend Carmarthen Enterprise.

Booked a car as an emergency as mine broke down. All booked online, confirmation email. Phonecall in the morning when already on route to get car to say there were none available I shouldn't have been allowed to book and they were sorry. Consequently I was stuck in Carmarthen with no car and no way of collecting children from school. Total shambles of a company and poor customer care.

I was well looked after by all the staff.The car I borrowed was lovely to drive and was immaculately clean.I?d thoroughly recommend them!!
