“Despite the obvious need for reinvestment, Pantglas Hall still offers visitors an appealing holiday prospect, with its charming location and access to numerous nearby attractions. Set within spacious and peaceful gardens, the wooden cabins offer comfortable accommodation and a full range of equipment and facilities, including TV and free wifi. The kitchen appliances are dated but serviceable, as is the furniture, but the beds are comfortable and the storage space plentiful. There are a number of amenities on the site, including an excellent and sizeable indoor pool. The Bistro os always open for meals and includes a helpful takeaway service. This is a resort I would be happy to return to.”

“Very friendly staff serving delicious food. They will happily cater for allergies/intolerances and there were a number of Gluten free options on the daily menu. If you are both gluten and dairy free, they advise phoning a couple of days ahead of visiting so they can make a yummy ”

“Ideal for bringing the extended family together on holiday. The Cors offers privacy with extensive garden/grounds. The location is within easy walking distance of pubs and facilities and there are plenty of longer walks nearby. Well we booked again for next year.”

“Stayed here for one night and the room was really nice. Comfy bed and soft pillows and duvet, got a good night's sleep here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also delicious. Only comment would be the shower pressure could have been better, shower hose leaked a bit but otherwise did the job. Would stay again.”

“We visited on an extremely hot day so sat outside in the shade. After an hour we asked for a menu. The menu had plenty of choices for me being a vegetarian. The bar lady was so helpful and very polite. We decided to have a meal in the restaurant and ordered at the bar. My partner had a started, french onion soup which looked nice and he enjoyed very much. Our mains came out after he had finished. I had a halloumi burger and he had lasagna. All piping hot. Mine was on a board bit asked for a plate instead. The meal was delicious and reasonable priced at £14. Partner enjoyed his too at £15. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to visit again when down this way. Would highly recommend. Not a fancy pub but lovely atmosphere”

“What a lovely Sunday dinner, service was excellent and the staff were amazing, thank you for accommodating us as it was a late booking,( peering through the window 11.30 am, not open, and 2members of staff ask if I'm ok and arrange for a table of 7 later in the day) lovely puddings as well !! “For a budget hotel we were more than happy...room was clean..staff were friendly ..I would have no hesitation on using this hotel again..very nicely situated just off the motorway so easy to find...bonus was right next to McDonald's”
