Had an overnight stay for our daughters 2nd birthday as we were taking her to tenby zoo for it, and the staff at the hotel went above and beyond. We was so overwhelmed, when we arrived they put a card, balloons, cupcakes and drinks for her to enjoy. We cannot thank you enough, made it memorable and we will definately be coming again soon, thank you so much!!

Conveniently located just up the road from the high street it's a walking distance from the village centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful, so was everyone else in the village. It was reasonably priced at £35/night (we were there for 2 nights). There was ample parking so no need to rush looking for a space. If I'm in the neighborhood I'll definitely be going there again ??

Typical Travelodge really. Basic but clean and tidy. Beds comfortable and all the facilities fine. No on site restaurant but a Starbucks next door and Macdonalds and Gregg's across the road. St Clears has a few takeaways and pubs/restaurants 10 min walk away. Just off A40 roundabout which is a bit noisy with the windows open but handy for visitors who want to explore the area. Quite an easy drive to Tenby and the coastal towns.

Clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. Was hoping to get BBC i-Player on TV, but no smart TV. Not an issue really, but had paid for extra Wi-Fi for this. The man at reception was very customer focused and friendly after our long journey. Couldn't really fault it!

I have stayed at this Travelodge before and always enjoyed the break. There are lots of eating places within walking distance and the car park is more than adequate, a short drive to Carmarthen where supermarkets and fuel are available.

It was OK. For evening meal it's a 5 min walk across the rd to a mc Donald's. Also there is now a greggs there. Looks like there still building new places the site across the rd is new. The travel lodge was hot when I visited and the vending machine was not working I turned it off and on a few time and managed to get a drink from it.Rooms: Basic no a/c

To start with the +ve points. Friendly staff and great service. I booked two rooms o e for the family and another for my elderly. Great to stay for a night or two. The hotel itself does not have a very pleasing look. Looks a bit old and dirty and so as the rooms. Good bargain when the rooms are under £80. There is a mc Donald's just opposite to the hotel gate comes handy when you starve. There is a Starbucks within the hotel campus if you are looking to have a early coffee, opens at 6.30 am Carmarthen city centre is pretty close by.Overall ok for a budget stay. I would recommend this place.

Very noisy hotel, road noise all night although windows were closed! No hairdryer No bath mat No bathroom bin Toilet seat falling off No water pressure in bathroom sink to scrub your teeth Beds ok Pillows lacking stuffing! It?s a cheaper option than some other hotels but due to lack of availability we booked this one. Travelling for a funeral the following day we really could have done with a good nights sleep! Personal opinion would be to avoid this hotel

After a two week holiday in our campervan, we decided to treat ourselves to the last night in a hotel for a shower and freshen up before the boat home. Although we usually stay premier inn (always excellent) the location of st clears was perfect and thinking Travelodge have upped their game in recent years, we booked in. First off, no one was on reception to check us in. Waited 15 minutes, then rang the emergency number and a young lad, Harry, finally appeared. We got into the room and I sat on the bed....a black insect jumped on my arm! We started to strip back the bed and another jumped on the duvet! My husband killed it and we went to tell reception. He was adamant that the hotel had had a flea inspection the week before (!!!!!) and had been given the all clear! We brought him to the room and, with a microscope app on his phone, he took a picture of what was clearly the flea on the bed!!! He then told us that the hotel was full and he couldn't move us. I told him I wasn't staying, I'd sleep in the camper and I wanted my money back. He then found us another room on the second floor! We had an uncomfortable night in a dated, dirty hotel! It was a warm night, but no fans were available, however about 20 broken ones are piled up on the floor at reception! Come on Travelodge...it's not the 1970s! Premier inn all the way from now on!
