“My wife and I went here for our lunch, first time in a long time but it won't be so long before we visit again. We were given a choice of outside or inside and as it was such a warm sunny day we selected outside, which was sheltered and quiet. Inside would have been noisy from all the chatter. I ordered the lasagne and my wife the quiche at £11 each (see pictures). I had a small 330ml Peroni and my wife a Coke zero. The food was fantastic, never had a lasagne like it and I have had many. For pudding my wife ordered a lemon cheesecake, which when it arrived was announced as a vegan, which was a surprise as it was described as vegan. None the less my wife enjoyed eating it. I ordered a slice of lemon drizzle cake and alas this was where things crashed for me, very disappointed. It was a rectangle slice of nothing, no real taste of lemon, but the double espresso salvaged a bit of the situation. Normally I have eaten a slice in a loaf style, which was very moist and some had some icing on the top.”
