“I really loved this pub. We stayed at the start of our Offas Dyke yomp. It is so nice to be in a thriving community pub with good beer and a very fine beer garden. There is a good natured friendly feel about the place, helped by friendly staff. The only thing I would say is it is a 1620 pub with wooden floors and our room was above the bar. There was a good hubbub of chatter and I slept immediately but that may be worth considering if you turn in early and struggle sleeping.”

“Free parking at the rear of the building. Outside seating at the ftont and rear of the premises. Rooms are exquisite. Excellent hospitality from all staff especially the young lady Liz. Would definitely recommend”

“From the moment we arrived at St Pierre we was impressed! From the immaculate drive through and hotel entrance to the Golf courses. We arrived early for our tee time but they still managed to check us into the rooms which was clean and spacious and ideal for us! It was a mixed day of weather with plenty of heavy showers but the Old course was still in great condition considering the footfall and wet weather Wales had that week! The next day we played The Mathern course which was enjoyable but not as well maintained as the main course. The staff in the club shop was helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfast was amazing with quick and attentive service, The bacon and scrambled egg at breakfast was some of the best I’ve ever had! And the dinner, the portions was generous yet still quality! The spa was decent aswell, really nice steam room. Without doubt one of the best golf weekends I have been on and value for money! Think it will be hard to beat for price!”
