Lovely people, excellent service. I went with the intention of an eye test and buying the prescription from Glasses Direct. However, Vision Express had such a good deal on my selected frames, I bought from them. Their cheaper range looked like designer frames to me anyway. They would send them direct but I want them in store to adjust the fit too, another reason they beat Glasses Direct. Cheaper again on their 0% plan and they throw in free insurance and free eye tests too. They just became my preferred opticians.

Booked appointment for 2 of us 5 weeks ago for sat 2nd dec had phone call been cancelled? till 27th jan they have no optician thats handy for an opticions by the time i have my test and wait for the glasses i, ll need another eye test. Makes you think if they want our custom very poor customer experience

Disabled Person had an Appointment arranged for 9am at Llanelli store. We were 10 mins later due to Road closure. Tried phoning the Store to say delayed, but they didn't answer, kept ringing and ringing. When got there, a Girl with a right miserable face and attitude to match, said the Appointment was now given to someone else. I will deter everyone I know from using Vision Express.Update ... 2 weeks has passed since our Review. Completed Complaint Form with Company as the review response asked me to, and as expected, surprise surprise ... no reply. Would not touch this Company with a bargepole.

Been waiting since August to have contact lenses. First appointment they weren?t right, second appointment the doctor had ?misplaced? them, third appointment they?re now out of stock. Absolutely livid. It?s now November and I?m still without my contact lenses. No apology each time and wasted my time leaving work early etc. no prior phone call to let me know they were out of stock. Moving elsewhere.

Arrived for appointment, store closed, no explanation. Despite many reminder texts prior to appointment, there was no call, email or notification of this closure. As a disabled wheelchair user who finds travel exhausting, painful and difficult, a wasted journey costs me more than just wasted time. I have since heard nothing from Vision express regarding this, no apology or attempt to rebook my appointment. I went to M&S on the off chance, got a walk in immediate appointment, and the M&S staff were amazing.Unless you are offering me the courtesy of explaining this issue or apologising to me, then I I no longer wish to have further contact with Vision Express.

Since I last posted 2 yrs ago, the standard of product and customer service have suffered. There is little or no communication, telephones are never answered, even their own customer service can't get through. I had replacement lenses and one lense kept falling out. They were uninterested and I claimed a refund!!!!

Very disappointed with customer service, original eye test was ok. However purchase of spectacles and billing was far to complex.Then returning 10 days later to pick up said glasses. Only to be left in the shop unattended for 20 minutes, then a further 15 minutes to obtain said glasses.Back to Specsavers for me and my little family.
