Led to our seat then waited for nearly 30 minutes before I had to call someone to take our order. Some friends , sitting elsewhere in the restaurant , who had arrived some time before us also had not had their order taken. We had fairly forgettable fish and chips , the chips seemed to be the usual reconstituted pulped shape and the fish was Ok. Again I had to wait and call out to get someone to take the desert order or I would have been ignored. It would seem like there is no instruction for the people serving to check if customers are requiring anything , including giving an order. This is just the second time I have visited here and it was the same the first time. I will not be back. You either need more staff or better training for them.

Very over priced for the quality and portions of food. The gammon was the size of a small beef burger patty. There was a small handful of chips per meal. Only had 1 out of 3 steaks. You would expect to pay a lot less for what was provided. The garlic bread was horrific, I would be ashamed to serve that to anyone. Just a shame really as the staff and service provided was great and the restaurant was clean and pleasant! But 99% of the reason you go somewhere to eat is for the food and this really let it down. Very unlikely to go again!

Was an amazing meal and great atmosphere and our server rhys Williams was absolutely fantastic so attentive and made sure that our experience was brilliant I would highly recommend this place ?

Do not bother coming if your disabled, I brought a gentleman who is disabled with special eating requirements, asked for scampi and was told they don?t have any, so asked for an adults fish bites and chips so he can pick up the food as he can?t use cutlery, to be told to by too kids meal instead of just putting it as an adult meal, shocking, grown man having to buy children?s meals because they can?t use a knife and fork ??Parking: Great

My friends and I meet here regularly. The food is always pretty good, particularly the steaks. Tonight I felt I had to pay tribute to the staff. From the gentleman who greeted us at the front desk, to the young man who brought our drinks and in particular to Aimee who served us, whose attention to detail did not go unnoticed! Thank you Aimee, your customer service is outstanding!

We stayed at the adjacent Premier Inn. The food was good as to be expected from a beefeater. However, service to begin with, was rather slow. It was a busy Friday night so this could just be down to customer volume.The menu and drinks are the same as those you'd find at any other beefeater. A selection of grilled meats, namely steak, burgers and chicken and popular alcoholic drinks were available.The breakfast the following morning was fine, If you've ever done a Premier inn breakfast before, you can expect the same here. Continental, cereals or self serve cooked buffet are all available, with the typical tumbler of fruit juice to compliment your morning caffeine fix.

We've been here many times over the years and normally have a nice meal and an enjoyable experience. However, the last couple of visits we can't help but feel it's going downhill. The service is ok, but not as attentive as it used to be. The biggest downfall is the food. I ordered a ribeye for £19 and my mother ordered some skewer dish. Both turned up basically 'meat and chips'. We used to have a nice side salad and a nice big mushroom and grilled tomato. The steak had a pathetic tomato and a tiny mushroom with no salad. My mother's meal was even supposed to come with a salad (according to the menu) and it turned up without it. It later arrived once we said something. All in all, it feels like it's heading downwards. Not sure we'll return in future, having been at least 20 times in the past.

Not been to a Beefeater for over a decade - wasn't particularly trying to avoid them. What a pleasant experience! The friendliest of staff, great service, extensive menu, lovely food and excellent value.

Food was lovely, Service was even better. Second time we have visited and the Staff are so friendly and attentive. It was a nice change not to feel rushed out of a restaurant leading to a relaxed environment. Child friendly and free refills are always fab when you've got the kiddies with you.

Have always loved this place but the food has really gone downhill. The gammon is now very small round pieces. Quite fatty. I think they are trying to cut down their cost but it won't work. I for one won't be going back. Its not cheap either.

Everything was great with the breakfast food but the coffee machine wasn't working, which was also the case on our previous visit. Also there was no orange juice. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for those minor things.

Food is pretty good usually get seated straight away due to us making a reservation before hand. Food can be quite pricey so recommend signing up for the promotions as they do regular
