Really helpful & pleasant staff BUT in Feb 24, when very cold, we purchased x2 bags of wood & 1 bag of kindling for a wood burning stove in a holiday cottage. Our purchase was carried by a staff member from the rear yard to to our car - we presumed it simply ?damp? due to being exposed to the rain & thought the wood burning stove was at fault until we bought alternate wood from the Spar shop in Beaumaris & realised what a difference dry seasoned wood really was !!!!!!!!To summarise the wood sold by Evans Hardware was wet through & unfit for purpose

Step back in time at this hardware store. If they haven't got it, you don't need it. Friendly helpful staff, always attentive and very knowledge. Would certainly recommend.
