Every time I foolishly purchase something from here it?s a returned / opened item. £200 Lego set in battered, opened box and expensive Apple electronics that have been opened and used then returned. Avoid if spending over £20.

I had an exceptional experience at the Argos Sainsbury's in Albany Street, Newport, all thanks to the outstanding service provided by Mair. Not only did she assist me with my printer purchase, but she also went above and beyond to help me locate the receipt for an Oral B toothbrush that had a warranty. Her dedication, warm attitude, and constant smile truly set her apart. Mair's exceptional customer service skills and willingness to help deserve recognition, and I believe individuals like her should be rewarded with a raise. She made my shopping experience memorable and hassle-free.

Tried to return a tablet because item was faulty, the one woman examined it then refused an exchange or refund, so after I got home I rang back as I was not happy as there was clearly a fault as we only been using it for 8 days she gave me a number for customer services, I rang them explained about product and he gave me ref and told me to take it back to Argos as it's faulty and within the 28 days, and she still refused to exchange fix or give me a refund, because she looked at it and thought there wasn't a fault! told me it's a cheap tablet, £130 is not cheap! She mad me feel really small, took it to another Argos they looked at it and straight away said you can clearly see a fault with it and gave me a refund, I'd rather travel further and go to another Argos than go there again! She was so rude! I wouldn't even give them 1 star

Online it said same day collection once bought maybe the next !!! What a sham Argos anyway you lost the sale and we did get same day service at Curry?s and only spent £700.Be aware of this on collection probably in the small print SOMEWHERE !!!

I went there other afternoon cos it says closes at 9.30pm got ther at 9.05pm and it was closed.staff said it says on line it closes at 9pm.??? No 9.30pm it showing me??

It's a store, what more can I say. It's pricey than Asda. Cheaper than Waitross. Middle of the road. Quality clothing especially for kids.

I cannot even start to comment on this place its so poor its unreal if details on a item is needed then surely if you work there then should be able to assist where and how possible??? Try all ways to avoid purchasing at argos only as a must last resort!!! ?

Service in terms of ordering & collecting your items are generally great quick fast service with no issues however I bought a Samsung TV here a few weeks ago and it was advertised as having Bluetooth on it & being Bluetooth compatible however it wasn?t so went into the branch & the branch refused to give me a refund & I was accused of just opening the item for the sake of it & returning it but I had to try out the TV & try and get it to connect to various different product in which I bought like a Bluetooth adapter but it never worked so I called the helpline explained to them throughly everything that had happened the helpline confirmed that I was still eligible for a refund but went into the branch the second time they still refused to give me a refund so I had to call the helpline in branch despite the waiting times to speak to them just so I got my refund as they were still refusing. it is sad because I was a regular customer here it was sad how I was treated as they made me feel like a criminal. So in terms of ordering & collecting service is fine but beware of refunds as they will try to bribe you off.

Need to improve their waiting times. Never enough staff and they take far too long at serving individual customers.
