Fantastic service from a devoted staff team. This pharmacy is extremely busy and they work tirelessly to ensure a great service is offered. Since covid they have been short staffed and over used yet they are still friendly and helpful.

The absolute worst! Never experienced anything like it.Went in and got my son antibiotics turns out they gave me 1 of 2 bottles this pharmacy is 20 miles away from me (out of hours GP sent it here unfortunately)It is now Saturday I have run out of antibiotics tried calling this place 30 TIMES with two children just popping down to see if you have what I need is not practical or really possible logistically.This is the first bad review I have ever left but feels more than justified!

The worst pharmacy I have ever been in. They never have prescription ready, alway tell the same excuse that they didn't have time to do it. There's always massive queue. They never picking up phone. Seriously waste of time. Someone should do something about it.

I also hate complaining but every month I have to ask if they've picked up my prescription which is ready at the doctors on the Friday every month. They say they didn't have a driver if this is the case come on asda help your staff to give the service we all deserve rather than me with heart disease having to run around while working full time trying to collect my prescription myself and take it to them. The staff are always very pleasant. It's very stressful with the lack of staff they have. Thank you

Every time I go here to collect my prescription it?s either a long queue with 1 person serving, or missing prescription or something wrong... never an easy pickup.

I hate complaining, but having had a transplant and having serious health conditions I rely on medication. Over the last twelve months, I feel I have never had good service. Time and time again they deny having picked up a script from surgery even though they signed for it, they lose medication, and take days to fill a prescription as they are grossly understaffed.I know it is not the till girls fault, but by being rude and dismissive when I am concerned about medication is their fault. They need to raise issues as a safety issue, not moan at the customers that its not their fault. I am very disappointed.I feel the health board needs to step in and ensure that this place is safe to handle medication safely.

Shame you cannot give zero stars the worse Pharmacy around! They may as well close never have the medication in stock you need always tell you come back in a hour or tomorrow! Pointless waste of time going there!

This has to be the worst pharmacy in Newport. No visit is ever straightforward. They can never find your prescription and you always have to come back. Always. Terrible.

Black haired woman with nose piercing who is on the pharmacy is extremely rude! The attuned she gives to the customers that are coming in for prescriptions is terrible and I?m honestly surprised she even has a job! My partner came in asking for his prescription the other day and she belittled him and was rude the entire interaction. Definitely wouldn?t recommend this pharmacy at all.

Lost my prescription. Had it sent back over and told to wait another two days. Vital medication that I now haven?t had for a week. Will be asking the doctors to send my scrips elsewhere. Well pharmacy is great!

I have been told to wait for my medication for an 1h . Just for one cream which they have on the shelves a bit crazy and I had no reason why I had to wait that long. I said I need to go to work so now I need to collect it tomorrow which is crazy as I need this cream now to treat my problem as quick as possible as I am pregnant

Arrived 15 minutes before it closed to be told that an urgent prescription will "have to wait until tomorrow as they close in 15 minutes". Yes - they confirmed they were actually OPEN for another quarter of an hour! No other customers there and would have been in a dispensed in few minutes up to 8pm in any other pharmacy. Exceptionally poor experience.

Advised it would take an hour for my prescription to be done. The person behind me knew the staff member (called her by her first name and asked ?is there anything you can do for me?) and hers was dealt with. Very poor.Asda have now responded below and I comment as follows: I was in store at 6pm on Wednesday 15th July. I shouldn?t have to resend my review on another forum and Facebook does not allow me to direct message Asda, plus the website isn?t mobile compatible to allow you to complete the ?I am not a robot? question. I have no desire to have the in store pharmacy contact me as their level of customer care has already been clearly demonstrated as zero.

Awful service, you'll probably die waiting for your medication. Counter unattended for ages while a queue builds up, Assistant then had long chat with her mate. To cap it all when my tablets were dispensed and checked, I was not allowed to take them because the pharmacist wasn't present! Even though he had nothing to do, he had to be there when they were handed over. I just left them there, explained the situation to my GP, who kindly gave me a new prescription! Unless you have a camper bed and supply of food and drink to sustain you, just don't bother
