Very very tired interior - everything chopped, mangy and stinking of some kind of chemical cleanerDead fleas in the bed (better than live ones I suppose)No hot water the first night so we binned it off and went to Premier InnA big bit of the bath was missing by the taps and the massive hole was plugged up with some silicone.Actual holes in the bathroom floor under the linoProper dump.

A friendly professional welcome at reception, she explained to me where our room was situated. My husband & I stayed with our 2 dogs. Staff were nice and good customer service. Our room was spotless and TV was a good size for room.Walkability: I am disabled and everything on one level, which supports me a great deal. The hotel nice and quiet 5/5

Spider-infested rooms. Staffs not very accommodating. Worse still, far away from everything. Not accessible by public

Stinking room, dirty, broken tv, dirty and broken tv remote, extractor fan not working I bathroom. This is the worst travelodge I?ve stayed in. Noticed a steady decline in the quality of travelodge accommodation in the past year or so. This is the last time I use this company.

Great place ! Rooms are very clean , beads are very comfortable . Very friendly and helpful staff . Very peaceful place and beautiful surroundings . Tea, coffee facilities in the room have been provided . The only minus was internet as it was very good and only two devices you can connect and it?s not free - 3 pounds for 24 hours . This place has no public transport connection so it?s better to come here by car or you have to stroll along the countryside for about 20 min but it was really nice walking !

Have 3 family rooms on ground floor 2 rooms have damp in the ceiling which make the room smell bad so have to open a window for ventilation but still can't get rid of the smell.3rd room have the mold in bathroom tiles and the bathroom tub surface was dirty too.

So we booked this room due to the weather getting bad over the weekend, we abandoned our campsite, packed up all of our stuff, and headed to the Travelodge. We got booked in. All was going well until we got into the room and found that power sockets were sparse, the room was hot and had no means of cooling other than opening a window but these were already wide open and providing no relief. Then the banging crashing and screaming started from the room above, the sound of a young child screaming and crying and the sound of an adult bellowing and shouting at them. When we tried to speak to the reception desk they said oh they have just arrived but provided no advice or course of action to resolve the issue. All in all this is one of the many times I have stayed at Travelodge and I'm sad to say this was the worst night I've had in a Travelodge.

Had a good stay, was a last minute booking to save final night of our trip away. The hotel was good value for money only let down by the Wi-Fi.. don't bother buying the Wi-Fi package if you are travelling with anyone else.

Lovely hotel even though it?s dated and needs a refurb. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly and professional Becky on reception. We felt that nothing was a problem and she made us feel welcome. Had an issue with the tv in the room which she soon sorted for us by moving our room to one with a tv that worked. Unfortunately that room didn?t have an additional bed and she sorted it in seconds for us. This is the second time at this hotel and the second time Becky checked us in. She is definitely a ray of sunshine in that place :) The location of the hotel was ideal as it?s just a mile or so from the motorway. Easy access for where we had to be for work. Harvester next door with plenty of choice on the menu. Hotel bathrooms very old and need updating. Rusty bath taps and chipped sink. Not much the staff can do about this so didn?t bother complaint to them as it?s not their fault. Management need to spend someone money on this place as it?s not cheap to stay here.

We had originally booked to stay at another cheap hotel in the area after watching the England v Wales Rugby.but after searching a few days before travel I came across this trace lodge in Pencoed priced £25 cheaper than the original place.which was great as the extra money saved meant I could pay for car parking and the train tickets from Bridgend to Cardiff. I phoned the day before to say I couldn?t check in until around 10pm due to being in Cardiff this was absolutely no problem at all.On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who directed us to our room.Yes the hotel is very dated and needs some upgrades but our room Was clean so couldn?t fault there.Yes there was a strong smell in the corridors and there were guests who I think now may live there due to not having their own homes. It was the same people when we arrived and when we left the next day.but they weren?t a problem just normal people doing what they do. Saw a lovely lady on check out who was a housekeeper really friendly and wished us a safe onward journey.would stay here again when in the area. this was our first time for staying at a TL, But again if the hotel was to be redecorated etc the prices would be higher.

Hotel was quiet and staff were polite however he had to change rooms when we checked in due to the bath having cotton wool, hairs and dirty in it. The carpet had crumbs or something on it, dusty and no cups. Rust on taps. Changed rooms. Alot better apart from the twirl wrapper on work surface. Wouldn't stay there again due to the uncleanliness.

The hotel is in a lovely, quiet spot - no noise disturbance at all. Although basic, the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The adjoining Harvester is very handy and does a fabulous cooked breakfast!

Probably the worst traveL lodge we've ever stayed in. Run down exterior with litter ( mainly cigarette butts) all over the place. Area around car park overgrown and untidy. Arrived earlier (1pm) than 3pm book in time and asked if one of the rooms was ready could we book in as we had a funeral at 3pm and had been driving for over 6hrs with elderly mother, who needed to freshen up. Staff when we eventually found some were rude and unhelpful, just repeating £10.00 charge £10.00 charge for early book in. When we did collect keys later that evening the lady at the desk changed our mother's room to accessible room as she'd spotted mum had a walker which was a nice touch. Unfortunately the accessible room bathroom had a bath no shower so not very accessible . Very hot in rooms. We had booked a family room as well but where given a double room, they did find a family room eventually with alot of huffing!! Unfortunately the room wasn't made up correctly and no towels were supplied, so yet another trip to reception. Very noisy, building no ventilation in bathrooms , rooms very hot and stuffy.Rooms: Not well cleaned bedding a little grey looking!Food & drinks: Harvester next door, basic pub fried food. Breakfast good.Noteworthy details: Accessible room had no walk in shower . You have to climb into the bath so not accessible for those with mobility issues

Uncomfortable stay in a grubby, poorly maintained property. We couldn?t be bothered to complain to staff as they were clearly uninterested. Travel lodge you need to up your game as your prices for basically 1 or 2 star accommodation match those of the much superior premier inns! Definitely wouldn?t stay at this place again.

after 6 HR drive arrived before 3pm tried to book in, 84yr old wanted to freshen up before funeral at 3. Told no unless we paid £10.00. when we did check in gave us wrong room, no towels, rude staff.
