I don't know what's going on at this place... It's gone from fantastic to.... Well very poor. The food is getting to be hit miss recently which is such a shame. The saving grace is the polite staff, although tbf you can have a ton of staff on shift, but no one really doing anything. Tonight is the final straw for me, it appears to be closed but open but closed.... Asked to come back in 10 minutes.So I calculate 10 minutes to come back, 5 for my food if I get served straight away... Might as well go home and cook myself! I am giving this place a miss from here on and suggest others do, that way they may fix what's broken. It's such a shame, as a long term user of Llantwit major Farnham's I am very disappointed.

Unfortunately don't know what's gone wrong last couple of weeks with there food, last time mediocre tonight chips were dry and looked like they had been reheated, don't rely on your previous reputation, needs to.be more consistent and improvements

Chicken curry I had was disgusting lumps of chicken and not that much. £7.50 a portion ..I should of bought a chicken myself to do it..not worth the money..won't be going

Just ordered and brought home cod and chips, haddock, mushy peas. It was packed as fish, fish, chips, peas. It was impossible to say which fish was which because they had been too lazy to mark one. The chips we're soggy, the peas were unseasoned tasteless sludge. My partner ate a random fish which was fine and some of the chips, the rest went in the bin. I will never ever go there again. I'd rather drive to Barry or Cardiff for an order if they are going to be like that in Rhoose just from Fontygary. How much effort does it take to write C or H on a carton?

This is a nice chippy and great and enjoyable fish and chips. The service was good and staff were friendly.
