only gave 3 stars as there was a lot of biulding work going on internally, sort of spoiled the atmosphere, food was very good in bar and staff were spot

3 for cleaning, room with wine marks, spider, left dirty towels in the room, site tables not cleaned, phone didn't work.Noisy floor, old bed with think topper, could feel sprung.

Room was not ready until 15:20.Room was nice and clean, and comfortable. Some of the decor is a little tired.
