my mother ordered something and it came with fungus inside she cleaned it and it still wouldn?t come off so she decided to return it as it should of came fresh. the lady accused her of using it and accused her of saying she used it, she got the manger involved and the manger was shouting at her telling her to admit the fact that she?s used it even though the staff lied about my mother saying that, let?s be honest if my mother was to even use it she wouldn?t tell the staff that so the lie was so stupid! my mother is vulnerable as she doesn?t speak english and hardly understands it so the fact they wasn?t patient with her and made her really upset because they was accusing her infuriates me!! she ended up giving the item back and telling them to leave the money as she was so upset! the item still had the tag on and it was fully packaged in the box! they are lucky i wasn?t there. don?t recommend this place at all!!

This Argos in Sainsburys has terrible customer service. The manager was very rude and felt unwelcome as a foreign customer. I tried to return a a floor lamp and did not use it. The manager refused to accept the return by accusing me that I used it just because I had opened the box! I told her that of course how I was going go see what?s inside and see the quality of the lamp. She insisted that I had used it and therefore non refundable. I called Argos customer service and had to speak the manager, she was apologetic and arranged a refund. She said she would also educate that manager on argos correct returns policy. Please be careful if you are foreigner, the manager is rude! Very similar experience other customers mentioned in their review . Surprised Argos still employes this person. They need to educate their store managers urgently

I went to return item that I purchased and paid for in the same store .I was told that they could not refund item because it needed to be picked up from my house.The item was not opened. So if you purchase item from argos and it come from a third party their return policy is not what you think.Still not got refund and I was waiting for 45 min for them to sort outNot good for a big company which said refund up 30 day

This Argos from Sainsbury shop has a terrible customer service. The management is terrible and rude with foreign customers. I ve try to return a phone after 2 days without use it and the manager refused to accept the return by telling me that I set my home language on the phone and because of that they cannot sell it again. I said that I will reset in English but she still refused to receive it and she suggested me that I must to keep the phone and try to resell it online. I did refuse to do that and I did called Argos customer service and they apologise it and arranged a home pick up return and I did received my money back in 5 days. They also helped me to make a complaint against the manager. ZERO STARS.

What a joke trying to get a refund still after 2 months. Twice i have been there to be told it will be in your PayPal account within 30 days. This will be my 3rd time i return to the store. Might have to speak to citizens advice about this because i am not getting anywhere with them.

This Argos has terrible customer service and unhelpful staff. The management is particularly rude and unpleasant, they would not help me at all with an issue I had buying a laptop. Awful shopping experience and definitely never shopping there again. I would strongly encourage you to go elsewhere to purchase electronic items. ZERO STARS!

There was a lovely woman in this particular branch on the high street who was incredibly helpful and absolutely lovely to have a conversation with. I didn't feel like I was a bother asking as many questions as I did and she answered them showing me she knew how to do her job. If I could give a 10/10 I absolutely would. More people should be hired like this lovely and lively lady. Definitely going to visit again.

Absolutely fantastic. Went in for my mother on Thursdays due to a faulty item from candy excellent support from all the staff members. Esp when we had to go back In today one in particular this morning not saying names incase not allowed. We had to put a complaint in with candy as the guy who came out was bang out of order and mistreated my mother. They helped from beginning until the end. Fab !! Thank you so much for everthing
