I've never been here, and I keep telling Google Maps I've never been here. But if I review it, then Google Maps will stop asking me to review it. So have 5* on me.

Our wedding day at Fairyhilll at the end of October 2023 was nothing short of magical. The venue's enchanting atmosphere during an autumnal day, coupled with the impeccable service, made it an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we were greeted by a sense of charm and elegance that set the tone for the entire celebration. The staff at Fairyhill went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawlessly executed with a few little surprises thrown in for good measure throughout the day! Special mention must go to Alex, our event manager, whose dedication and expertise were instrumental in making our day seamless. Alex's meticulous planning and attentive presence allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the occasion. Our guests were equally captivated by the venue, describing it as a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth, leaving an indelible impression on everyone present and the food was outstanding.Often, wedding food can be a forgettable aspect, but at Fairyhill, it was nothing short of a gastronomic delight. The carefully crafted menu not only satisfied the palate but left a lasting impression on our guests. The attention to detail in the presentation and the quality of local ingredients showcased the culinary expertise of the venue's chefs.Fairyhill not only provided a stunning backdrop for our celebration but also a team of professionals who genuinely cared about making our day extraordinary - from our first visit, through the planning process and on the day itself. We are immensely grateful for the incredible experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Fairy Hill to anyone dreaming of a fairytale wedding.

I have photographed many weddings at Fairyhill. The team at Fairyhill are very efficient and make sure your wedding day goes without a hitch. As a wedding photographer, I am welcomed and looked after by the team all day, making sure I get the pictures I need plus ensuring everything runs smoothly. There are two main locations for your ceremony which are the K room and the gardens for beautiful outdoor ceremony. There are lots of locations around the grounds for pictures.Fairyhill is also situated a short drive from Rhossili for perfect golden hour portraits in the evening.I look forward to photographing more weddings at Fairyhill in the future.

EXPOSED MANHOLE WITH LEAKING SEWAGE - Easily accessible - DANGEROUS!Little concern about the issue from their management. My sister had her wedding in April 2023 at Fairy Hill. The start of the day was lovely and everything was great. I gave my sister away and I was looked after by Tom Guererro who was really helpful.I was exploring the gardens in the evening and found myself caught up in a sewage leak on Fairy Hill's grounds. I had an amazing day, however, this was an unexpected surprise. The open manhole and sewage spill were easily accessible and it's a location where I would expect children to play and explore. It was dark in the evening and I found myself caught up in a slippery sludge with a horrific smell. I turned on my flashlight and I was caught up in a beautiful mustard sludge which I can assure you wasn't mud and was pouring out of the open manhole. It might seem like I found the sewage issue and that I am trying to make a false claim of being caught up in it.The sewage seeped into my shoes which has been a challenge to clean fully. Yellow sewage seeps from my shoes when I squeeze hard enough. I also got sewage on my hands and it stained my suit. My stomach health hasn't been great since the incident however the close exposure to the sewage and health issues may be a correlation and not causation.I messaged Fairy Hill to warn them about the dangers of having exposed manholes and sewage on their grounds. Hannah Jones the Venue Manager called me shortly. She asked if I was ok and told me they had found the issue and had sorted it. She told me I wasn't meant to go off the path which seemed like a joke. I wasn't aware that guests were restricted to the path because the wedding photos were taken off the path and I couldn't see any signs warning of sewage leaks off the path. Hannah told me to write about my situation in an email which I did.I was ignored for a month and sent 3 emails chasing them. She eventually emailed me a month later saying she'd been informed that I wish to speak to management. It seemed like she brushed me off and then responded like she was ignorant of my situation. I informed her a month before that I'd like to speak with someone.Someone from the management team called me twice however I wasn't available. I emailed Hannah to ask the management to try and call me again. My email was ignored. The day was amazing however the treatment from Fairy Hill after they'd received the payment was appalling. I've never written a complaint before however I thought this situation would be a good one to start with.I'd recommend the fish. I'd avoid their mud baths...
