It was a birthday meal for friends and family .. Staff were friendly and happy to help.. But the food I'm sorry let you down .. What on earth are those onion junks they were disgusting no one likes then let alone eat them . This should be struck off even the staff say they are disgusting so why on earth would you give these to the customer who's paying good money to eat them The ones who sit on there back sides sort it as we will defo not go back....

Thursday night 19:30 Grubby tables; ? tepid food (chicken) on a very hot skewer, weirdly. (Got sent back) Salad bar only 40% full; drinks took ages. (+20 minutes) Our waitress was lovely but was clearly trying to serve an awful lot of tables. Positive response when tepid chicken was sent back. Overall experience: Disappointing. Not going back. Hope waitress gets a better job. ?

The kids for £1 offer is a huge dissapointment! We regularly visit the Gowerton site and took our 2 grandchildren for lunch as a treat. Thinking of £1 offer we ordered 2 main adult meals £13.99 each and 2 kids @ £1 each? Two fruit shoots 1 soda lime and 1 Coca-Cola. The bill was £50.56!! I asked the lovely young waitress how can this be right and she said she would total it the "normal way" and that saved £1! Don't think I'll be taking Harvester up on this offer again...load of nonsense.

Disappointing service, poor lack of communication from staff regarding a 40% discount with food while coming up with an ?internet? issue excuse for the 2nd time there. The woman also had a shocking attitude, long wait times. Zero customer service skills. We had asked to sit outside due to it being rather warm and the fact that my partner is heavily pregnant, but was told that we couldn?t due to being ?short staffed? although when we mentioned that again later we was the told that we could have sat outside. Will never return back there in future. Also plenty of flies on the salad.

Had been to a funeral in Llanelli and called into the Harvester around 3.30pm. Short delay getting a table but ordered at the bar swifly - lunch with dessert. good value. Then a wait of at least half an hour before we had our food, no apology. Our plates were not cleared away and after a further 20 minutes I had to go to the bar to find where dessert was. After another 10 minutes it finally arrived, again no apology. The pub was not particularly busy but obviously short staffed. If the management know service will be slow at least tell the customer when they arrive.

Celebrating our son's gcse results this evening. Excellent service from Cerys and Mark. Food was good despite how busy it was this evening. Very attentive and sympathetic service from.our waitress. Diolch yn fawr!

Table was booked for 7pm but we were not seated until 8pm. We had to chase a server down to order and then struggled as they had run out of basic things like chicken and steak . The salad bar had lots of things missing. The restaurant was very busy and I can only assume the staff were completely overwhelmed. It was not a pleasant experience.

Food was ok, the major issue was the service or the lack of. Booked table for around 6.45, food arrived around 7.15, the biggest issue was that it took around a hour for the table to be cleared only when I went up to ask if they could clear the table. The service was not great, it was not busy at the time and the waitress the was supposed to be looking after the area myself and my partner were in completely "forgot" about us even though made several gestures and looked at the table knowing full well we had finished our meals. When i had mentioned the issue to the manager there was no apology about the wait, instead a comment was made which was " two of our waitresses have just gone", to me this is bad management and bad service.

My mother, partner and I have just been for a lovely late lunch for my mums 80th birthday. Staff were brilliant and couldn?t do enough to help. Food really good and Caron provided for a doggy bag home. Well done as our last experience with a harvester was not good. Would readily go again

Menu arrived quickly. Food lovely. Sadly no gluten free menu, was told to look at nutritional information on the website. Took a while to be able to pay the bill

Visited here with family recently and our experience was ok. We went for the lunch deal which had good variety and was a reasonable price. We ordered our drinks and food and went up to the salad bar. The salad bar is great! So much variety. Drinks were lovely. Starters came out promptly also and they tasted delicious. However, mains took around 30-40 minutes to come out after and all staff in restaurant seemed to have disappeared. Once our food had arrived it was tasty and a good portion size. We then had to wait another 30-40 minutes for our plates to be cleared. We then tried to ask for the bill after but couldn?t find anyone, so waited near the till for around 10 minutes to pay at the end. Food was good, restaurant itself is nice just needs more staff to improve service speed and experience.

Despite being very busy the restaurant was able to accommodate us at a quiet table in the bar area. The staff were efficient and the service was excellent. The waiting time between courses was just right. The food was hot and plentiful.

We had a lovely lunch visit to the Harvester in Gowerton a few days ago. We were greeted by friendly staff who were both patient and helpful. The salad bar was very full and everything looked very fresh. Both our meals were absolutely gorgeous and for what you get, the price is very very reasonable. All in all, it was a lovely visit and we will definitely be back soon!
