I have spent about 1and a half hours trying to arrange the simple issues of transferring money from an issa to cover my current account overdraft . This is ridiculous. Rather than having a recorded message to say what the problem is., why not have an agent to help your customers with their inquiry.I made over 6 calls ? and still didn't solve my simple request.I will tomorrow morning have to go directly to my local branch to hopefully get satisfactory response.

Ridiculous people who just like ti waste peoples time when trying to get on with life. Locked my account down after I tried to make a payment phoned them unlocked my account lady said make the payment again I did and then locked my account down again after I had literally just came off the phone with them 2 mins prior. Now I have to find a way to leave work for a hour lose money to unlock a account that these crooks locked down for no reason place is a shambles and a waste of anyone's time. Will be gaining acsess to my account t emptying it out and moving across to a online bank like revolt. So you can tally that up to another customer lost and completely dissatisfied with the bad practices at this shoddy establishment

Thank you for wasting my time whilst trying to open a simple bank account for my daughter I've been a customer for 37yrs and have been sent on a wild goose chase with conflicting info, I cant phone to make sense of it as it takes far to long to get an answer. When in branch the front staff seem to have to check info on the I pads for the most basic of account info and then that contradicts the info that has already been sent to me . Their only answer is yes I'll give feed back !!!what chance do customers stand if the staff dont know basic details I had the same trouble when trying to open an account for my son at the same age it's sad to see it's still a complete mess. I went across the road to lloyds for my son and now have done the same for my daughter. I've moved a very healthy business account to Lloyd's and will soon be moving my personal accounts to.

Ambiguous and Offensive staffs. It seems as if their intention to close the branch for good by being rude to costumer. Bank should put very friendly and understanding employee. The employee the have the job because of costumers not because of the bank. They should be better educated and the branch also needs to be diverse.

Fair play, HSBC used to be know as the local bank, not so since they shut almost all of them, however after visiting the Portland St. branch in Swansea, they have the all credentials to market it as ?The most arrogant and unhelpful customer service? the guy on the front desk could make a brilliant advert of how not to do it.

HSBC is becoming the worst bank in UK from being amongst the best. The customer service has become pathetic. The call centres are the worst. They decide what a customer has to say!! Horrid.

Had visited the branch for opening a bank account. Their calls are diverted to an international call centre, but helpful. No phone in branch is accessible. Service at the branch was quick and great. Easily accessible and identifiable from heavy traffic. Just near Swansea bus station.

I am looking to open a new business account, I have so far been on hold for 32 minutes! After 16 minutes I was put through to a foreign call centre who could not do anything and am trying to put me through to a UK call centre. As I am sat here on hold I have to wonder if this is how they treat new customers how will I be treated as a existing customer? Terrible service.

My first expereience with this bank not the branch was dreadful. I need to speak to someone about opening a trustee account and needed details about the account before making an appointment in branch. Nearly 20 minute wait with call centre, then discovered call centre in Swansea but went through to business accounts in Leicester where Robert did his best to help. I do not want to waste an appointment, my time and their time but no information available.
