I went into the Gorseinon Branch with my elderly mum today and was very impressed by the service we received from a lady named Angela . She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and is a credit to the bank.

Staff are always helpful and polite. Queues are epic. I've never been able to nip in and do things quickly. Generally the post office is much smoother. This branch needs a clean and redecoration. So much old sellotape and sticky mess from old signs in Windows and walls. Needs a facelift! I stood in the queue so long I had time to admire it's scruffiness!

Nothing against the staff who are always great, but for most people with a job the opening hours are rubbish. The times I can get to the bank most weeks are Saturday (closed), late afternoons (shut at 3.30pm every day), first thing Tuesday morning (half day, open in the afternoon only!). It's really not funny and I'm seriously thinking about switching banks after 30 years.

Very friendly, professional and swift services. Also, very accommodative to international bankers. I would recommend this bank to anyone

Staff are really helpful but the queues are always ridiculous Iâ??ve never gone in there and not had to queue for ages. Why have 4-5 cashiers windows but only one or two staff ever working them the staff are there just seem to be behind the scenes. Plus closed on a Saturday now is a pain.

Very helpful staff always able to assist with any queries you might have. It can be quite busy there but there are usually staff able to help break the queue down with the self service options and assist you with these

I have only recently started using the services of Lloyds bank and I find the counter experience to be quite painful. I went to Lloyds on Tuesday 2nd May following the bank holiday at about 10.30 - 11 am only to find myself in a queue of 15 people awaiting counter service from just 1 counter staff!!! I was there for ages - there were other staff floating about but just 1 on the counter. Today I needed to use the bank again - due to it being the day after a bank holiday again I decided to leave my business until the end of the day to avoid the long queues. I had checked the website for opening times which were conflicting - one said 5pm closing whilst another said 4.30 closing. I entered the bank at 4.16pm only to find the blinds down and the counters closed. Myself and another customer waited a while to find out what was going on, when a staff member turned up to tell us that the counter service was indeed closed since 4.15pm. I mentioned that the info online says 4.30/5pm and she told me that it's now 4.15pm - apparently these are the 'new rules'. Don't you people at Lloyds bank want your customers?? Making up these new rules and not communicating them with the people that are keeping you in your jobs. Next you will be closing the Gorseinon branch as you have already done in Pontarddulais (which is the branch I would have been using if it were still open!).

Staff are brilliant, been with Lloyds since 1969, but try to telephone, don't start me!
I have an appointment to see a manager, I want to bring it forward, I have to call at branch to change it. You couldn2make it up.
