My partner and I visited this store on Thursday the 28th of December to look for a pram we had seen online. At first we asked a member of staff about this pram and they got a bit confused as to what we were looking for and we were left thinking we needed to pay extra for something that we wouldn't actually need or use. We then saw Amelia and asked her to explain what the other member of staff had meant as we had a budget in mind and she explained everything to us and the extras we were told we would need, wasn't necessary. Even though she was busy herself, she kindly showed us the pram and how easy it was to clip on the car seat/change from baby to toddler. As it was the last pram on display, and we were worried our baby would make an arrival soon, having also being told delivery could have taken longer if we had bought it online, Amelia asked her manager to see if she could sell it to us and thankfully they agreed. No fuss of having to assemble it all when we got home, we wheeled it straight into the car. We often shop in Smyths store Swansea but if we need any more baby furniture then we know where and who to go to. Amelia is a credit to your store and rare these days to find a high level of customer service.

Went in for a child seat, ended up waiting for a member of staff to walk us through the options.Thought I was going to spend a fortune but ended up spending nothing! Amazing customer service. Walked us through all the options on the shelf but realised we can convert our current one instead of buying the next size up. Very knowledgeable and a great help.

We bought a gaming laptop for our son which is faulty it will not charge and with in a few days it stopped working unless we pay £10 a month despite the fact online policy have an extended return policy for items bought from 1st September 2023 to 31st January 2024 they will not refund it or take it back it is the Minecraft gaming laptop DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM

Really busy in the store tonight 18.12.23 but 2 members of staff took the time and trouble to help me find the products I wanted having been unable to find them myself. A gentleman on the gaming desk (I think his name was something like Mishon) and a young lady working on the shop floor (I think her name was Devine). Thank you both so much for your help when you were already under so much pressure. It was very much appreciated.

Great man (didn't catch his name) helped fit my kiddo out with a bike that's suited to her height, and took down a display model of a rocking horse to try. Also a woman by the baby aisle was super nice

Placed a click and collect order I tried ringing store 2 see if they could hold it longer as I was stuck in waiting for a delivery spent 12 hrs ringing re ringing couldn?t get them to answer the phone ??????

Never Pre-Order games from this company ever. They won?t give you a valid tracking number so you won?t know if your game will actually arrive on the day.

Excellent customer service today from a sales assistant named Paul who helped us with our new baby buggy we purchased he was very helpful and very polite he is a credit to your store will definitely be asking for Paul for help again he deserves a big thank you

I was hoping to buy a spare booster seat for my nephew, (who wasn't with me at the time) so my daughter wanted to see which was the most comfortable and try them out to be the judge of which was the best one for him, when a woman member of staff come over to make the statement of "she's not heavy enough to use that seat" in a snotty manner to which I replied " I know yes" my polite way of saying Leave me alone, I didn't ask your opinion and don't just make assumptions without asking me who its for first.Unconvinced with my answers she proceeded to tell me "if you get stopped by the police you'll get a fine" to which I reply"Right OK whatever yes..." I don't appreciate being implied to be a liar for a question that was never asked of me and don't appreciate your continued assumptions.Not feeling she is deserving of a reaction, I then walk off without saying anymore with the seat in hand to buy it, my partner spots her going to tell another member of staff (probably not to serve me) and they both start following us towards the till, I put the seat down at this point and am ready to leave without buying anything but my partner convinced me to atleast buy the toys we had,We get to the till and watch as the woman member of staff goes to talk the manager and they both pretend not to be talking about us but both cant stop looking over at us as if they where planning to refuse the sale of the seat.This woman member of staff needs to learn how to talk to and how to approach customers and if she's going to be a grass, atleast don't get caught talking about the customers infront of the customers, I will be refusing to shop in smyths swansea because of her bad attitude from now on. She single handedly turned what should of been a happy experience and I expect better of staff in a toy shop.
