I?ve just been into Specsavers Gorseinon to pick up a copy of my prescription. On receiving my prescription from a male employee, I queried if the prescription was for both my varifocal and VDU prescriptions. He went on to explain the numbers on the prescription to me, but did it in a way that made me feel like a complete idiot. I got the feeling that he wasn?t happy I had asked for a copy of my prescription, even though I was entitled to it. His customer service skills were clearly lacking and I?m sure if I was in there looking to buy glasses his attitude towards me would have been different. I have been a Specsavers customer for many years and have spent many hundreds to pounds on glasses from them, so I was very angry at being dealt with in such a rude and condescending manner. I will be taking my custom elsewhere in future.
