I have been seeking this book, like J. R. Hartley sought his own. (Some wag actually published the fictional book after the Yellow Pages advert was run!) Anyway, I only recently had the guidance to find WHICH Pertwee it was... Roland, Jon's dad! A hero of movies and media. Books and screenplays and finally... some boys'...

Situated in the lovely village of Tintern - well known for its ancient abbey - Stella & Rose's Books has been established since 1991 and normally has around 30,000 books in stock. Since October 2018, all books previously held at Rose's Books in Hay-on-Wye are now permanently located at Tintern.
RE-OPEN after renovation works from 27th April 2023.
