Stayed for one night before going to the races. Had dinner in the bar area which was excellent, we have eaten in many places but the steak with peppercorn sauce & fish & chips were absolutely delicious, in fact the best we had ever eaten (& we have eaten many!). The en-suite double room was spotless with tea/coffee/biscuits...

We stopped here for a drink, it's a lovely cosy pub with good selection of drinks. The food smelled great so we came back the next day for lunch, it was great! Tasty pub food and lovely landlords. A really great place to stop!

This place is a must as the hospitality was absolutely brilliant. The staff, the owners and the food were excellent. A great establishment and easy access all around with plenty of sights to visit.Food & drinks: We ended up eating there for dinner every night because the food and service was exemplary (very good) Delicious.
