We had to cancel earlier this year but rebooked for my daughter’s birthday lunch . We were certainly not disappointed, the welcome, the staff and the food was outstanding.

A splendid place for surprisingly fine dining in a cosy, traditional pub environment. Food is original, rich and enormously high quality. A super place for ‘slow food’ of great flavour and quality, in every good sense. The home-baked bread is delicious. The service is friendly.

Could not recommend the Black Bear Inn enough. From the staff, food, wine, and interior of the restaurant everything was unmatched. There is ample parking across the road, we were able to bring our dog in and the staff had ample suggestions and really knew the menu extremely well.
