I will start by mentioning that I have Irlens syndrome, meaning that in order for my eyes to function correctly, I need to look through a coloured filter (Ash Grey). My job requires me to sit in front of a screen for a considerable amount of time, which brings us onto my glasses request, tinted glasses with blue screen protection.To be clear, i asked two separate Dispensing Opticians if combining the two requests would cause any problems, to which they both replied, no. Great!! I Ordered my glasses; a designer pair and a cheap backup pair and prepared to wait the two weeks delivery period.When the glasses arrived, they were completely the wrong colour. Instead of being Ash grey, they were a mixed Orange/Brown I cant quite identify. I obviously returned the glasses and was promptly informed that applying the blue screen protection to tinted glass may well lighten/Darken the tint.To which i replied "that's a completely different colour, not just a shade". They offered to re-send the glasses to a different supplier for tinting, again reinforcing that the shade may be slightly different and I accepted.Another two weeks pass and they are again incorrect. Firstly, they didn't bother sending away both glasses, only the cheap pair, which I didn't agree too and tells me how confident they were in receiving the correct Colour.Seconding, they were bright blue. No a lighter or darker Grey, but a completely different colour. I was basically then told they wouldn't be able to match the tint without sending off my current glasses. Now I'm a reasonable person, I can understand and accept all these difficulties. But why wasn't i told about these difficulties at the start of the process, specifically when I asked that exact question?If they had been honest with me instead of focusing on sales, i would have asked different questions, explored different option or went to a alternative supplier.In conclusion, a month has passed, I still don't have any useable glasses and I quite rightly received a full refund. I will not be going back to Vision Express again.Edit I have since receive an email from the complaints team. Although the general tone was apologetic, they basically informed me that Vision express don't do colour matching, but were willing to try on my behalf. He mentioned i would need the colour code for my glasses and hilariously suggested that i was "furnished with enough information" before ordering my glasses. This is blatantly untrue and dismissed the entire reason i am writing this negative review. If i was told even one of these bits of information before hand, i would have ordered somewhere else or obtained the coloured code. I was told nothing other than it wouldn't be a problem, despite the fact i asked. Just go to another Opticians.

The staff in Vision Express Nuneaton are absolutely fantastic, I have been using this optician?s for many years and they still deliver great service. Recently fitting glasses for my 3year old and myself.Very professional, I would highly recommend.

I've been wearing glasses for almost 30 years now, and in that time I've been to many opticians and only recently in the last few years vision express. It would be fair to say Vision Express have by far been the best opticians I have been to, they are incredibly thorough and put your mind at rest and answer any questions, very genuine staff and I cannot reccomend them enough!!! Thankyou guys, see you next year...

The periferal scanner, needs a new dot board! I pointed out to the operator, some dots are only half dots and hardly lit. This leaves you unsure whether it was or wasnt! The opthalmologist was excellent, given what he had to work with! ?

The service I received was second to none. Very efficient. The examination was very thorough and I was given the full details of my eye condition. That's why I always go back to vision express. I would recommend Vision Express to anyone for their eye care. First class. Well done.

An excellent opticians, I've been using them for many years & they're never too busy to explain the eye test. They have always been so helpful with the various eyes conditions in our family. The shop is very clean with an excellent range of specs for all & the staff are delightful, knowledgeable & kind.

As per usual, very pleased with the help I received. I was seen within a couple of minutes by Sue, the manager, despite the branch being very busy. Just reinforces my view that there's no reason to go elsewhere, after about 15 years of excellent service, from each and everyone of the staff!

I went to Vision express Nuneaton, the optician was very knowledgeable, great staff, however they are lot more expensive than all the high street shops and online shops in England, I have purchased the Ray ban RX 8421 frame and the price of Vision express is £220 while the actual maximum retail price in England is £176. Opticians direct selling this product as an offer on 15/03/2023 is £88 otherwise £176 and they do have high street shop and online. Think twice..
