Ordered a sewing machine, wanted to return it so I went to the lady and showed her the receipt, the first one we showed was the one for us to go and collect it. The lady said we can?t return it as it?s been more than a month but we bought it on the 30th of Jan and today is the 5th of Feb. We looked for our other receipt once we collected it and the manager came and said we can?t return it cause the receipt we showed to her colleague was the wrong one. She started to raise her voice at us and as my mother?s first language isn?t English we felt racially targeted. We then called up customer services and they sent a receipt but with another store address. We didn?t know but the manager was being so rude and raising her voice at us as we have the wrong things and that it isn?t their fault when technically it?s Argos? fault. I?m utterly disappointed with the behaviour I received from them as it wasted my time.

Needed to exchange a faulty unusable item, but paid cash and can't find the receipt, staff acknowledged that it was from Argos but flatly refused to help. I now have a £35.00 item I cannot use or exchange. Appalling as it is clearly from there and not fit for purpose, also have a disappointed six year old as it was her Christmas present.

First time I've had an issue with a product from Argos and it resulted in the worst customer service experience ever. Store manager literally refused to take the product back and offer an exchange as per Argos policy. They wouldn't even accept a phone call from their head office to help address the issue, and claimed it's a separate business which they don't talk to ?The arrogance and unwillingness to help from the store manager was almost laughable, how they got a job in a customer facing role is beyond me. If there's a chance you'll need customer care, I'd avoid this store.

Absolutely pathetic customer service. I bought a controller and wanted to return it due to incorrect information on the packaging, but the manager refused to accept the return. It said it was used but in fact the item had been opened but not used. There is no negotiation anything. We are left with a useless product that we do not want to throw away. Pathetic customer service and I would never buy anything from here again!

Had a major issue with a product bought from here on Sunday, resolved with no fuss by the store manager and staff the following day and I have a replacement. Very happy.

Absolutely pathetic customer care. Bought a Baby Monitor and wanted to return it due to misinformation on the package, but the manager refused to accept the return. He/she said it was used, but in fact the item was opened but not used. There is no negotiation nothing. We are left with a useless product which we dont want to throw it in the bin either. Pathetic customer service and would never buy a thing from here, ever again!

I brought a TV from there I then asked for the wall plate that I needed for that tv ,I was sold the tv and wall plate to hang tv on ,when home drilled holes ,no screws in box long enough to put plate on when back up there chowed manager of store was so rude did not understand anything I was trying to tell her she obviously did not know what was what and in the end something so simple ended in a row as she then refused to give me my refund , I will be taking this further as her customer service skills were a big fat zero.
