First time visit. Thought it would be more expensive than it was ! Only had coffee, beautifully presented & served. Looked at the menu, and it looked like 'real' food was on offer, not a pattern on a plate. Reasonable prices compared to some places I've visited recently. Are you being served? Bacco Lounge was originally built as a nineteenth century department store; which could explain our cosy lounge-like rooms off the light and airy main bar. Or not. Either way, we’ve a pretty little courtyard out the back and an upstairs air conditioned dining area replete with fabulous original floor-to-ceiling windows: one of the earliest examples of shopfront glazing in the country, fact fans. John Lewis eat your heart out.
