Every time I go in this shop, I walk straight out as the prices are extortionate for a charity shop. For instance, the other day I noticed a handsome tie which I was interested in buying for my partner. Upon looking at the label it was an Eton brand tie which meant very little to me. The label also stated "eBay price £79.99" and the selling price was £15. I therefore put the tie straight back as this is a ridiculous price for a charity shop. Once home, I looked on eBay at the sold history to see if this was correct, only to discover that the average selling price for a second hand Eton tie ranged between 0.99p and £9.99. Sense are therefore basing their prices inaccurately. I checked out Eton ties on the website to find that a BRAND NEW Eton tie in a box with the labels from the shop is approx. £70 to buy new. I feel that this charity shop is trying to replicate eBay prices, however it is a completely different platform with millions of potential buyers at any one time as well as being as being auction style buying. This is a real shame for charity shops as it takes away the true meaning of them. People like a bargain whilst knowing that the proceeds go to charity. It is a shame that charity shops like this are ripping people off by using the "ebay pricing technique" which isn't even accurate most of the time. Stop taking the fun out of charity shopping. I wouldn't recommend this shop for this reason. I much prefer the DAPP charity shop next door which is fairly priced and has sales and discounts weekly!

Interesting place to buy used items. Car park in the Swan Centre next to Asda and if you pay five pounds on groceries etc in Asda then the parking ticket can be validated and would have parked for free.
